The Mac client runs very poorly for me, but the Windows client I can run in BootCamp is MUCH better. Using the same settings on both Mac and Windows (1200x800 res, all settings at High except for No Shadows) I get 20 FPS on Mac and 60 FPS on Windows. My specs are:

- 13' MacBook Pro
- 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor
- 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics card
- Mac OS X version 10.6.4
- BootCamp runs Windows Vista Home Basic

Is this to be expected, or is there something I can do to boost performance?

I'm running it on late 2008 2.4GHz MacBook with the integrated Intel GMA X3100 graphics chip. It sucks, I know, but I was able to run LoL at its lowest settings through Bootcamp and maintain 10-15 FPS. IE it was playable. It doesn't seem to run as well in the Mac client, though. My laptop has been having some trouble lately so I haven't been able to help out as much as I'd like but that was the standout observation from the time I did spend with it
