Does Ravenous Hydra and Runaan's Hurricane stack on Jayce, Nidalee, or Elise?

I would expect them both to work on them, because they're ranged and melee, however do they work at the same time, somehow?

You could probably buy both, but they would only work with their respective melee/ranged attacks.

The raw stats work in either mode. (+70 AS, +50 AD, +15 regen all the time)
The passives and Tiamat's active only work in their respective modes.

When Jayce/Kayle/Elise/Nidalee are using ranged attacks, they are considered ranged units for the purposes of things like Hurricane's passive, Youmuu's Ghostblade's active duration, and the intensity of Lizard Buff slows, and Phage/Frozen Mallet/Triforce slows.

When Jayce/Kayle/Elise/Nidalee are using melee attacks, they are considered melee units for the purposes of things like applying Tiamat/Hydra's unique passive, the ability to cast Tiamat/Hydra's unique active, and for things like the duration of Youmuu's Ghostblade's active duration and intensity of Lizard buff and Phage/Frozen Mallet/Triforce slows.

You don't get the AoE from both Hydra and Hurricane at the same time regardless of who you play. However, as IonDragonX stated, all the basic attributes work regardless of your attack range - so you still get the attack speed, attack damage, health regeneration, and life steal when you alter attack range.

So basically, when they're melee they're melee, when they're ranged they're ranged.

The only champions with ranged attacks that work with Tiamat are Rengar (passive), Wukong (Q) and Gangplank (Q)

I guess he counts too, though I sincerely doubt that was worth a nearly year-old necro post.

Before Kayle uses her E, she is treated as a melee champion. Her attacks will apply melee-only effects.

After casting Righteous Fury, she becomes a ranged champion. Her attacks will apply ranged-only effects. Because her attack has no actual missile, Runaan's hits two targets near her main target instantly. However, Righteous Fury's AoE is an on-attack spell (for lack of a better term); it is treated as a spell that applies Rylai's, Spell Vamp and Liandry's as an AoE spell.

That probably would be a better question in Champion Discussion, but it's relevant here too so whatever
