Disconnection issues in game.

Hi there,

I'm currently having problems in game with disconnection, I have a ADSL connection and usually sit at around 180ms (from New Zealand). I have no lag issues in any other games but whenever I join a game in LoL my ping jumps up to 500-800, LoL attempts to reconnect me while I can see everything going on in real time, it appears that I'm the only one with lag problems when it comes to trying to reconnect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I will do my best to answer any questions. I've also re installed the game with no avail.

Thank you for bringing your issue to the Help and Support Forum! Issues with lag, ping and disconnections can be incredibly difficult to troubleshoot at times due to the vast amount of possible root causes to prompt these issues. However, we can hopefully find a solution to your extreme jumps in ping!

First and foremost, while many of these steps may seem very basic and mundane, I strongly recommend that you complete all of the steps found in this Knowledge Base Article regarding Latency and Ping. You can find this thread here:

By completing all of the steps in this guide, and if you are still experiencing issues, we can rule out a large variety of possible root causes in order to give us a better idea who the true culprit is.
