The only practical reason it was implemented to begin with is in the event that all 10 players lock in, it'll save some time. Which happens almost never, and for good reason.
Now the only reason it exists is to troll players, by locking in a champion immediately regardless of what your team says, as if to stubbornly cross your arms and say "Nope, it's mine".
Anyone else think this feature is kind of useless these days?
Can't lock in ranked or draft. That is the solution, if you're playing normals then it doesn't really matter.
It still saves time when used.
Trolls will still troll, regardless of whether they can lock or not.
