Will we ever see a LoL tourney without dubstep between games?

I've come to realize people these days call everything "dubstep" similar to how everything was "techno" in the late 90s early 00s.

Do you not know dubstep when you hear it? Obviously the stuff playing is dubstep.

I think they need to listen to Mordekaiser in terms of music.

Also, on a completely different, unrelated note, please check this out? http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=2844339

Not until producers with good taste in music make their way into the e-sports industry.

Yes, when an even more annoying style of music comes along.

I blame DJs. It seems like the people with the worst taste in music in the world are the ones who end up at the DJ station spinning the tunes. Take all the music that everyone else hates - disco, country, gangsta rap, boy bands, and now dubstep - and that's pretty much the playlist of the average DJ.

In seriousness, I agree that is what dubstep is supposed to be and where it started. It was good stuff. The genre got coopted by skrillex wannabes with iPad sampler apps. I'm older and remember punk, idm, house, hip hop and a billion other genres that have been murdered over time. I know the pain, but that is no longer what dubstep is.

A moment of silence for a great genre, slain too young by rogue wubs.

Guys, the thing is,

Dubstep, techno and electronica are played at e sports to match the vibes.
They aren't going to play metal or rap because in the context it's a bad choice.

And if you don't like it you can, read this part,

Mute it.

*mind blown*

That's BRILLIANT! I feel inspired. Okay. I'm gonna have an idea now.... wait.. .here it is!

What if, now walk with me on this... what if we could discuss our preferences civilly without it being an earth shattering crisis? We could do it on some kind of board for discussion. A discussion board!

I think it will really work.
