My friend got me into this game and talked about a whole lot of LoL.

He is level 30 and i was just interested to see if what elo point you have to get urself into before u wont get down?

My friend said 1400 and your elo point wont go down even if u lose?

That's a completely different thing.

At 1400, you start getting elo decay, where if you don't play for a period of time, the system will believe that due to you not playing, your skill will go down, so it lowers your ranking to compensate.

You will always lose ELO if you lose games.

Your ELO will lower if you lose games.
Down to 0
there's no minimum ELO.
