Xypherous what gives YOU the right to remove items from this game based on your and maybe a few more riot staff opinions?

Let me start by saying Proffesional League of Legends players have a much more accurate opinion on items than you will ever have.

For example removing Ionic Spark, multiple pro's including some friends of mine over 2600+ Elo constantly used this item, and prefered it over wits end.

Xypherous I'm going to take a guess and say you just joined the Riot staff not to long ago and you are already starting to make changes with out proper consideration and opinions of the Pros and the players..

w/e impossible to explain such details to you as you will probably feel offended and sensitive towards the matter

- playing moba games since 2005
- join league of legends during beta testing
- heroes of newerth mod
- dota 2 beta tester
- dota 1 balance team

The fact that he works as a designer at Riot Games.

Maybe his job description and the power given him by his Boss and bosses boss?

Maybe that he is a designer of the game and you're just a player? If they think that a item is not working properly on the niche they wanted to, they are free to change, buff, nerf or remove it at pleasure.
What gives YOU the right to ask for rights of a company decisions?

No reason at all, he does this entirely for his own amusement and is part of a tyrant sect of Riot Games who makes decisions without any input from others at all. *

*This is probably not the case. **
** You've played the game since beta and haven't heard about them working with professional players in testing? ***
*** Eh, everything you said as a factual statement was probably a lie anyway.

Right... the designer of Renekton and Riven "just joined" the Riot team. *eyeroll*

Get real, bro. They're professional game designers. Pro players are good at analysing and exploiting the game, not creating it. Wonder why lots of pro players used ionic spark? Maybe because it was overpowered compared to other itemisation options.

Please tell me more about how a professional will get "offended and sensitive" when some anonymous basement-dweller with no experience in game design starts critiquing his decisions.

My worry is that the current itemization set had a series of balance principles behind them that the champions are balanced around.

The new items will throw everything off, and require a ton of new work. Most champions will need major numbers tweaks if the new items are not toned down.

Of anyone on the entire planet, he is the person with the right to remove items.

He already mentioned that he'd consulted pro players, and there's no chance that significant item changes are happening with only the input from "a few" Riot staff. You seriously think that ANYONE on the design or balance teams would not bother to have a look and give their input on this?

You're ranting without knowing what items are getting added. We already know that there's something being put in to fill that niche, but you're still outraged. That makes no sense whatsoever.
