When the Kat rework first came out, everyone cried about how bad she was. They even buffed her, but at the time everyone saw it as another nerf because they re-did some of the ratios. Some of the popular reasons were:
"wow riot her new W sucks, you gave a burst assassin a skill that requires her to sit in the middle of the team for 10 seconds to do any damage."
or
"Omg her ult does insanely low damage shes even worse now"

Of course we all know that people just didn't know how to play her correctly, and now she is widely considered OP.

Another great example is ezreal. They reduced mana cost of his Q, and he was the most op champion in the game (and of course pulsefire xD). Similar with orianna when she was always considered trash tier by GD and now god tier.

The point of this rambling is, there are secret op champions out there, waiting to be discovered. Maybe they will get one small buff, and be considered god tier. Or maybe some pro will find him and he will be the next FotM. So who do YOU think the next secret OP champion is? Take a pick.

For me, I personally think that Syndra and Elise are both very strong, just people haven't learned how to play them, or given them a fair shot.

Edit: polls up and I only put champions up who haven't seen much competitive play lately and who are generally rarely seen.

Also, if you picked "other" please specify who you think.

I don't believe any thing in LoL needs to be balanced out side of items, champion balance is fine and yes some champions (annie) need buffs. Small buffs, like more Q range.

Syndra is not sleeper OP, in my opinion and experience.

I'm not sure who is, though. Maybe Volibear or Fiddles.

Trundle really isn't op, he just scales so poorly. However I can see trist and mf being net FotM op, just cause mf almost ALWAYS wins her lane, and trist has insane range and poke that just makes her hell to deal with. Plus rocket girl. op

None of those are OP.

Maybe you should have made it about "secretly good".
