It was so painfully hard to watch the WCG games because of playback resolution and sound quality that I had to just skip to the end to see who won.

Really really bad....

why should riot take any responsibility ??
when WCG said we're streaming it, riot got no other option.
it's not like they could do anything about it or make any demand to WCG since it's their first time ever in WCG.

For the over 9000th time, it has nothing to do with Riot because it of WCG's responsibility to stream these games. Don't know why, but like what djudjud14 said, not like Riot could stream high quality as they please.

What were they supposed to do, throw a tantrum and eject their presence from the event (most likely breaking dozens of written and verbal contracts in the process) because the stream was fuzzy? Where they supposed to get Gangplank and Miss Fortune to organize a band of disgruntled pirates to mutiny and take over the WCG stream department?

They had no power over it. They were just happy to be involved in the event and receive the publicity.
