His lack of initiation ability as well as low mobility. Every good Bruiser has a wa of getting to his enemies, or a good mid/beginning game.

Little known fact is that Nasus is not good endgame. One must be able to get to one's opponents endgame to do well. Nasus can ONLY thrive on an initiation comp with a jungle that is willing to countergank a ton. That's it. Anywhere else and he fails.

His Q isn't his problem if they capped his q, they might give him better stats, but he still has no mobility and has no way to fight enemy CC. Most people have mobility to get out of nasty situations, burst to get their work done pre-CC or range so as to safely complete their dmg output... and Nasus has none of those.
