You are in tribunal, lets say. The case before you is a fellow playing a threes solo que. He ends up with an obvious troll on his team. This player is rude and arrogant in an unprovoked manner. He hounds his own teammates relentlessly and claims all their success is him. The player in question AFK's as a result of the harassment. The player states that although they could have muted their teammate that they believe they shouldn't be forced to play alongside such an unpleasant player.

Pardon or punish?

I would say punish for afk. Its a lot worse than harassment wouldn't you think? Even though he could had muted him and trucked on till the bitter end.

Pardon, Riot reads through cases before bans anyway.

Mute the troll, then just play the rest of the game to the best that you can, just relax and think about your next game.

Most of the time, you'll only lose about 15 minutes of your life since the first 5-10 minutes of a match are usually still up in the air.

What I do in when those games are obvious is treat it like a practice game.
-See how good my map awareness and prediction are (and try to improve)
-Try an interesting, non troll build
-Take risks you might never try in good games to see what will happen
