My usual advice would be this:

- Install League of Legends, so it can install all the necessary registry entries, etc.
- Copy over the patched client you're using
- Rename your C:\Riot Games\League of Legends to League of Legends.old
- Copy the patched client in it's place

It should work from there :-)

What does that mean? A wretchman said this
Another wrenchman said that copy + paste will work

Also, after champion select, what happen if the logo doesn't come?

Do I have to download Pando Media Booster and Direct X?

Will I need Pando or Direct X? How will I know?

What if the logo doesn't show up after champ select? What do I do then?

To actually answer the OP's question tho:
Yes, but no.

Yes installing league to a flash drive will work, if say you for whatever random reason had a full hard drive and had the space and wanted to install it to a flash drive, plugging that flash drive into the original computer you used to install it would allow the game to run, would it run at a playable level? well that's another question entirely.
So yes, leauge could theoretically run off a flash drive.

Now say you want to take this flash drive to a friends house, plug it in and play (which is why i'm assuming your asking this question) That will not work, because the program has installed access files (DLL's ETC) onto the original comp used to install it. so the new comp will not have those files needed to run the game.

So yeah, your answer is Yes, but no at the same time, just try it is the shortest way to find your answer.
So what exactly would I have to do at their house? Go there and download the game I guess or what?
Im kinda lost about what to do.

If you have an extra computer you can try testing it on that.
Other than that, there are no guarantees of it working or not. But it should.

I would have done that. The thing is that setup won't let me install. Just repair, modify, or uninstall. :/

You should be able to just copy over your LoL folder to a usb drive. The PBE client is distributed like that, so I don't see why a normal install wouldn't work. If I had something to put my LoL install on to test it I would, but my flash drives went missing. >.<

Oh. I did put it on my USB but the same thing happened. Modify/Repair/Uninstall. Now what? :O
How do I copy the client?

One last thing.
If I copy the installer to my USB then install the game at thier house, would it work if I installed it to the USB? or do I have to install to the PC?

Or do I have to download the whole installer again?
