Azubu Frost vs Invictus Gaming

What AZF needs to do
1.) Stay cool
2.) Out aggress IG
3.) RapidStar makes plays.

What IG needs to do
1.) Win in champion select
2.) Avoid counterganks
3.) Pick Ezreal for kid.

AZF
Bans -- Yorick, Evelyn, Jayce
Picks:
Ezreal -- bot, adc
Alistar -- bot, support
Vladimir -- mid
Shen -- jungle
Jax -- top
Team comp focused around initiate & mobility

IG
Bans -- Anivia, Lux, Skarner
Jarvan -- bot
Nocturne -- jungle
Corki -- top, adc
Leona -- top, support
Swain -- mid
Team comp focused on engage & "dunk combo" i.e., J4, Leona, Nocturne ult combos.

Notable moments
-- IG invades AZF's jungle using J4 spear & Corki Valkyring into a wall as a living ward. They get first blood on Vlad and chase Shen out of his jungle.
-- Jax survives a 3v1 gank and actually gets a kill
-- AZF's bot goes mid to do a 3v1 gank on Swain when J4 was pushed to the tower.
-- IG goes to gank at the tower. They have to back off with a low health Shen and Jax. Swain roams in to get a double kill at a tower, interrupting the bill pills.
-- 10 minutes in, IG had the 2 top turreets down.
-- IG roaming as a team, catching people out and using the dunk combo on Ezreal to shut him down.
-- AZF steals baron in a 3v5, getting kills in the process.
-- 26 minutes in, noting the split pushing that IG is doing, AZF 5 pushes mid, Alistar engages at the tower and they manage to get several kills and push mid all the way in to the inhib.
-- AZF aces IG at 41 minutes in at the baron while their minions finish off the nexus turrets and then Ez runs in to end the game.

Invictus Gaming Vs CounterLogicGaming NA
What IG needs to do
1.) React to new strategies
2.) Punish Voyboy
3.) Take CLG by surprise

What CLG needs to do -- missed this, will come back and add later

IG
IG Bans -- Sivir, Olaf, Draven
Alistar -- bot support
Skarner -- jungle
Yorick -- top
Vladimir -- mid ap
Corki -- bot adc
Team strat -- high initiation, high pressure

CLG.NA
Bans -- Ezreal, Jayce, Shen
Mundo -- jungle
Diana -- top
Lulu -- bot lane support
Cassiopeia -- ap mid
Graves -- bot adc
Team strat -- aoe damage

Notable moments
-- Teams play around at a team fight before minions spawn at bot lane tribush. CLG.na loses that engage losing two wards and blowing two flashes.
-- IG steals CLG's blues with Skarner, Alistar & Corki while their Yorick took their own blue buff. This helped put pressure on Voyboy.
-- Alistar roamed mid to gank Cassi from behind and was completely unseen. A communication error meant that Ali engaged while Vlad backed giving Cassi a free kill at 6 mins.
-- Skarner roams in behind Cassi to gank her from behind. Again, there was a communication error. Vlad engaged but they both backed due to tower damage letting Cassi get away with no health.
-- 8 mins in, a well placed ward by IG allows Skarner to steal the blue from Cassi with no risk to himself, also giving Yorick another blue.
--Voy takes top uncontested but Skarner pulls graves in and IG kills him in an otherwise equal fight.
-- 20 minutes, Voy teleports in from behind to score a doublekill while they try to kill HotshotGG. IG takes dragon at the same time.
--IG catches Hotshot out at 24 and kills him using it to get a mostly uncontested baron. CLG takes down Alistar but IG retaliates by killing Cassi and Voyboy.
--Hotshot tries to engage with 2 ults at 26 mins and fails miserably, getting devoured. IG pushes back to base.
--CLG goes to take the dragon, gets dragon but then loses an oracled lulu. The team fight goes against CLG and they surrender after IG almost aces them.

Phreak says CLG's composition was too late game oriented and they weren't able to hold out for that. IG won at champion select.

Azubu Frost vs SK Gaming
What AZF needs to do
1.) Control the pace – achieved
2.) Take bottom lane
3.) Disrupt Ocelote and Aranae – achieved

What SK Gaming needs to do
1.) Let emotions flow
2.) Match Frost's aggression
3.) Get Ocelote rolling

SK
Bans – Vladimir, Skarner, Jax
Alistar – jungle
Irelia – solo top
Sona – bot support
Caitlin – bot adc
Karthus – ap mid

AZF
Bans – Twisted Fate, Ezreal, Orianna
Shen – jungle
Corki – bot adc
Lux – bot support
Singed – solo top
Anivia – ap mid

Notable moments
This was a pretty one-sided match. Ocelote was controlled by RapidStar's Anivia the entire game. Shy's Shen was able to bully Irelia all game. AZF kept control of Sk's jungle.

--Shen steals Sks red buff at the start
--Sk took advantage of the counter jungle, knowing their level 1 was weaker and out-exped bot lane. SK's bot lane performed wonderfully all game, zoning out Corki.
--1st dragon goes to AZF at 11 minutes and gets it uncontested
--Singed went behind enemy lines and invaded Alistar's jungle. AZF completely disrupted Alistar's jungle all game long between Shen, Singed and Anivia.
--Shen teleports in bottom lane to gank for first blood. They get first blood on Sona but Kev1n's Irelia teleports in on a ward and secures a doublekill for Caitlin.
--At 23 minutes in, AZF almost aces SK and pushes mid into the inhibitor. They keep the pressure and split push on all the lanes.

Counter Logic Gaming.NA vs SK Gaming

What CLG needs to do
1.) Hold off on the cheese -- don't pull out new or crazy strategies this early
2.) Let SK come to them
3.) Help BigFatLP shine.

What SK Needs to do
1.) Forget the last game
2.) Plan for split pushing -- they failed to counter this well
3.) Shut up Doublelift --
* commentator also said they needed to have hard initiation champions

SK
Bans -- Sivir, Olaf, Sona
Shen -- jungle
Nunu -- bot support
Ezreal -- bot adc
Jayce -- solo top
Lux -- ap mid

CLG.NA
Bans -- Alistar, Gangplank, Irelia
Lulu -- bot support
Chogath -- jungle
Orianna -- ap mid
Graves -- adc bot
Diana -- solo top

**I missed part of this game**
-- Lulu & Graves steal big wraith and then stole red from Ezreal/Nunu
-- Jayce took blue buff to harass Voyboy.
-- CLG had the advantage with redbuff and gives first blood to Ezreal. Ezreal gets really low and Shen shows up to save him. Chauster manages to finish off Ezreal with the help of minions but he still gets the kill on Lulu for an early double, equalizing the lanes again.
-- Hotshot & Voyboy go to gank Kev1n but he dodges masterfully using the brush and gets away fine.
-- Voyboy goes bot to gank and Nyph and Yell0wstar manage to make it away. Voyboy then helps Ori get blue and heads back.
-- Orianna continually bullies Ocelote out of lane.
-- CLG tried to gank bottom lane with a solid push. Ezreal used his ult and then Ocelote backed it up from mid to help push them back and protect bottom lane.
-- Everyone in CLG comes bot lane in a beautiful team fight with CLG getting a 3 for 1 kill.
-- All of CLG pressures bot lane again and baits a dragon, managing to split up SK and get another 2 kills and dragon.
-- SK takes advantage of CLG's mobility to keep split pushing to take towers.
-- At around 20 mins in, both teams spend a good several minutes dancing around the dragon with neither team getting. Instead, SK goes back to pushing towers, forcing CLG to leave the dragon and defend. SK takes mid and then allows CLG to almost take dragon uncontested.
-- CLG then tries that same behavior, trying to split push while SK is distracted elsewhere. They take a second tower bot. They continue to use teleport/promote in order to push back what SK has gained.
-- CLG takes their third dragon at 32 mins almost uncontested.
-- With good ward placing, Kev1n manages to steal red from Graves from a safe distance at 32.
-- CLG backdoors with teleport/promote.

Azubu Frost vs CounterLogicGaming NA

What CLG needs to do
1.) Bring out the strats
2.) Leverage experience

What AF needs to do
1.) Rely on RapidStar
2.) Adapt to new strategies

AF
Bans -- Orianna, Evelynn, Alistar
Maokai -- jungle
Jax -- solo top
Sona -- bot support
Miss Fortune -- adc bot
Karthus -- ap mid

CLG.NA
Bans -- Shen, Skarner, Ezreal
Olaf -- solo top
Lulu -- bot support
Mundo -- jungle
Graves -- bot adc
Cassiopeia -- ap mid

CLG.NA started out looking good but very quickly lost their advantage for a dominating win.

-- CLG starts placing 4 wards in AF's jungle in the first minute. AF sees CLG but fails to counter their jungling allowing CLG to take the first minion wave from between the bot lane's two towers and then move in to take red.
-- At 3 minutes, Mundo catches Maokai out in CLG's nungle. Top and mid work with him to converge and kill Maokai as he tries to flash over the baron wall to survive but the dot kills him.
-- Also at 3 minutes, Hotshot and Voyboy see Shy overextended with no ward in top lane and perform a flawless gank, waiting until after his counterstrike was down.
-- At 5 minutes, Maokai catches Cassi near his wraiths. Karthus and Mao gank her successfully, stealing the blue buff back for Karthus.
-- CLG tries to gank bottom. Cassi keeps Karthus busy mid while the rest try to kill Sona and MF. Jax comes from top to help Karthus gank bot and then the entire AF team converges bottom to continue the countergank. AF scores a 4v1. This is the turning point for the match. AF then goes to dragon, catches Hotshot out, kills him and his oracles.
-- At 12 minutes in, Olaf and Mundo try to kill Jax and with almost no health, Jax scores a double kill on Mundo and Olaf in a magnificent play with a perfectly timed Counterstrike.
-- At 13, AF takes an uncontested dragon
-- AF pulls off a 15 minute baron, CLG tries to contest but AZF gets and picks up 2 kills for 1 death.
-- The mobility of Sona & MF allows AF to kill towers quickly with heavy split pushing and rapid tower taking with little that CLG can do.
-- 20 minutes, AF got another uncontested dragon
-- 23 Hotshot tries to flash smite baron from AZF but fails allowing AF to get Hotshot then Chauster and then they could push.
-- At the end Shy distracted CLG with attempts to gank while his team pushes the final bot tower and inhibitor.
-- Voyboy has a beautiful escape where he uses his ult and teleports out of a gank to survive.
--AF dominated the second half of this match, completely controlling CLG.na

Invictus Gaming Vs SK Gaming
What SK needs to do
1.) win early aggression
2.) Utilize knowledge

What IG needs to do
1.) Pressure bot lane
2.) Surprise with crazy picks.

IG
Bans -- Orianna, Twisted Fate, Alistar
Shen -- jungle
Leona -- bot lane support
Ezreal -- bot adc
Cassiopea -- ap mid
Malphite -- solo top

SK
Bans: Yorick, Vladimir, Sona
Jayce -- solo top
Nunu -- bot support
Udyr -- jungle
Corki -- adc bot
Karthus -- ap mid

Phreak predicted a better lane game for SK.
What I saw as a problem here is that IG has the better CC and that allowed them to completely dominate the game.

Notable moments
-- IG spreads out to guard their jungle entrances rather than counter jungle.
-- SK harasses bottom, missing first blood but forcing IG to use a flash and ignite. This helps later when Shen comes in for a level 2 gank (helped by a pink ward to kill SK's wards) and the lack of flash and ignite means that Corki is able to use heal and flash to get away and survive.
-- Malphite takes 1st blue buff. Despite this, Jayce manages to keep him pushed. Karthus and Udyr come in from behind to try to gank Malphite but he's able to use flash and good movement to survive the gank and chase off SK.
-- IG tries to get a gank bottom lane with a flash + dash from shen but he barely mises the taunt, giving SK 1st blood but the kill went to Nunu.
-- Shen goes bot again and basically camps there, utilizing pink wards to cut off SK's vision, ganking repeatedly. This gives them quite the advantage in CS and gets them kills on Nunu and Corki until Udyr comes bottom finally and pushes Shen out.
-- At 11 minutes, SK gets an uncontested dragon, knowing that IG had to back.
-- At 14 minutes, the only kill SK has is on their support and they are 3k gold behind.
-- 17 mins, IG sees SK pushing down the top tower and takes an uncontested dragon.
-- IGs Shen, Leona and Malphite continue to catch out members of SK and tower dive them repeatedly.
-- SK surrenders once IG has taken one base tower and inhib but has pushed back to the other two and is split pushing down further.

CounterLogicGaming.EU vs Dignitas
What CLG.eu needed to do
1.) Snoopeh effective ganks
2.) Take initiative
3.) Never give up

What Dignitas needs
1.) Scarra must outperform Froggen -- failed
2.) Shut down Wickd -- failed
3.) Pick late game team -- failed

Dignitas
Bans -- Anivia, Malphite, Alistar
Ezreal -- mid adc
Shyvana -- jungle
Gragas -- ap bot
Darius -- solo top
Taric -- roaming jungle support

CLG.eu
Bans -- Katarina, Skarner, Draven
Irelia -- solo top
Sona -- mid and bot support, minor roaming
Orianna -- ap mid
Maokai -- jungle
Kog'maw -- Solo adc bot

Dignitas tried to switch the lanes to get an advantage and put a roaming Taric + Shyvana team to get ganks but CLG.eu countered this well with good warding and a roaming Sona and Maokai, allowing Irelia, Orianna and Kogmaw to farm.

Notable moments
-- Dignitas does a three man gank to get first blood on Krepo but CLG.eu counters getting a double kill, giving Orianna the red buff.
-- Shyv, Taric and Gragas let Kog get used to no ganks and then come in through the lane to kill him.
-- Clg.eu sees three top and at 12 minutes takes an uncontested dragon.
-- CLG fails a three man gank on Gragas at his tower. Gragas plays the gank fantastically.
-- CLG goes for a second dragon, Dig sees this and takes another tower.
-- Dignitas tries to pressure mid, pushing down the tower. Froggen and Yellowpete's poke keeps them back.
-- At 24 minutes, CLG.eu starts to steal Dignitas' jungle buffs as a team, counting on the fact that Dig doesn't want to get caught in choke points with Ori, Sona, Kog and Mao ults. Dignitas cannot contest. This starts to snowball the game allowing CLG to play patiently, continuing to push small advantages and back off, avoiding risk.
-- At 29 minutes, Dignitas tries to make a big play and get Kog. They are stopped by the various protections out there and Kog just kites Shyvana around. It gives CLG a 3 for 0 and a free baron.
-- CLG continues to poke heavily and just patiently poke until they find the perfect engage. They dominate Dig in a teamfight at Dig's inhibitor tower. Dignitas surrenders.

Najin Sword versus Saigon Jokers
What NJ SWD needs to do
1.) Play what is comfortable -- they did this.
2.) Follow MaKNooN's dives -- they did this
3.) Be ready to adapt -- they did this

What Saigon Joker's needed to do
1.) Keep the momentum
2.) Embrace the underdog
3.) Throw Sword off their game

NJ
Bans -- Twisted Fate, Lee Sin, Alistar
Jayce -- solo ttop
Skarner -- jungle
Sona -- support bot
Corki -- adc bot
Ryze -- mid

SAJ
Bans -- Sivir, Evelynn, Diana
Shen --jungle
Ezreal -- bot adc
Karthus -- ap mid
Lux -- bot support
Irelia -- solo top

This match was pretty one-sided after Saigon Joker's original strong plays. NJSWD just dominated.
-- SAJ had Irelia stay bottom in the brush, luring Corki and Sona forward to get level 1 first blood on Corki.
-- SAJ had heavy pressure on bot lane. Shen made an appearance, was spotted and went back to his jungle but Lux and Ezreal tower-dived Corki and Sona. Sona killed Ezreal but he still killed Corki.
-- Jayce wittles away Irelia's health down top lane and actually kills her, taking E and Q and ignoring his W. He takes the tower while she's dead. Irelia, seeing the situation, goes bot and hides to et another kill on Corki. Skarner and Ryze come bottom to counter. Shen and Karth also come in. Lux dies but SAJ comes out ahead in kills and takes an uncontested dragon at 11 mins.
-- In response to all the roaming, MaKNooN starts to wander and this basically changes the game completely. Jayce dominates fight after fight, especially with Sona landing multiple ults on ALL of SAJ.
-- NAJ used their high mobility team to keep pressure up in multiple lanes and to create teamfight after teamfight, catching people alone at towers. They just completely dominated with Jayce having no points in W, giving him high burst that SAJ just couldn't handle.

** apologies for forgetting to put up the picks and bans in this match!

CounterLogicGaming.EU vs Naijin Sword
What CLG.EU needs to do
1.) Keep MaKNooN from Shen (and possibly Jayce) -- they did it.
2.) Play the late game -- they tried to, but didn't get there
3.) Don't sweat falling behind -- they played until the end

What NJSWD needs to do
1.) Make early openings -- they did this, frequently
2.) Close the game out -- they did this
3.) Don't focus Wickd -- they didn't.

CLG.EU
Bans -- Skarner, Evelyn, Jayce
Malphite -- solo top
Shyvana -- jungle
Lulu -- bot support
Tristana -- adc bot
karthus -- ap mid

NJSWD
Bans -- Anivia, Alistar, Irelia
Ezreal -- adc bot
Maokai -- jungle
Orianna -- ap mid
Sona -- bot support
Nidalee -- solo top

This game started out equal and quickly had NJSWD dominate. It was obvious that CLG.EU was having problems with their composition and wasn't accustomed to their picks. They also picked a team with far less CC.
-- Snoopeh invades at level 2 and almost kills Maokai, forcing him to flash away. Snoopeh then steals his red while his team keeps pressure on the other lanes.
-- NJ's Sona flashes in and exhausts Trist with Maokai to get first blood on Tristana.
-- Snoopeh early game had strong ganks, counterganks and jungling.
-- Mao & Sona put a lot of pressure on bot, killing Krepo several times.
-- 9 minutes in, Snoopeh comes bot and CLG tries to dive Ez and Sona unwisely, giving NJ a double kill on Trist and then Lulu.
-- Uncontested dragon and turret for NJ at 10 minutes in and another uncontested dragon at 16

At this point, NJ became hyper aggressive, wandering together to get kills. Their superior CC gives them the gank advantage as they catch CLG. Eu out.
-- 18 mins, Froggen and Wickd get caught out by the entire NJ team while trying to go for their blue buff, ends up giving NJ a 4 for 0.
--At 22 mins, NJ takes a free dragon and continues to snowball the game, winning with well used ults.

Dignitas VS. Saigon Jokers

What Dignitas needs to do
1.) Shut down Archie -- failed to do this
2.) React to differing mid styles -- failed to do this
3.) Enable Scarra to carry -- failed to do this by not reacting to the mid styles.

Dignitas
Bans: Irelia, Evelynn, Alistar
Shen -- bot lane
Udyr -- jungle
Katarina -- ap mid
Corki -- adc top
Nunu -- top support

SAJ
Bans -- Gragas, Diana, Shyvana
Jayce -- solo top
Ezreal -- adc mid
Karthus -- ap bot
Leona -- support/roaming mid
Malphite -- jungle

SAJ switches lanes here putting Ezreal mid to counter Katarina and Karthus bot to counter Shen while Dignitas sent Corki and Nunu top. Jayce handled the 2v1 just fine but the other lanes didn't fare so well at all. Dignitas never actually adjusted or shifted to counter this strategy and it was their long term downfall.

Notable moments
-- SAJ counter jungles and steals wraiths and red buff from Dig.
-- After invading, Malphite and Karthus go bottom to get 1st blood on Shen.
-- Patoy gets caught out in SAJ jungle while trying to ward, giving a kill not only on him but also on Corki.
-- Karthus overextends with no wards out in the river and gets ganked by Shen and Udyr
-- Malphite goes to gank Katarina, notices that Udyr is there and instead takes advantage and steals Udyr's jungle.
-- SAJ donates blue and red to Ezreal to keep him dominating Katarina mid.
-- Karthus learned from his earlier mistake, allowing Shen to push, where he farmed fine and Shen was constantly overextended.
-- Leona ult flashes zenith blades in onto Kat, with Malphite and Ezreal joining in to give a kill on Kat that happened quick enough that Shen couldn't even ult in quick enough. Then, SAJ took a 13 min free dragon.
-- Karthus gets a 13 min ROA.
-- Shen ult saves Scarra from a Malphite, Leona, Ezreal gank but SAJ waits until the shield fades and Karthus ults for the kill. Nunu and Corki come down to try to counter the gank. Leona and Malphite gain a kill, letting Ezreal die.
-- 2nd uncontested dragon at 19 minutes for SAJ.
-- Ezreal gets ganked by several members of Dignitas. Using essence shift and the slow from Triforce, he successfully kites Shen and Udyr long enough for his team to show up and turn around. They're able to score several kill s and push mid hard enough to leave 1 nexus turret standing.
--26 minutes, SAJ thoroughly wards Dignitas jungle and clears Dig wards and then takes baron completely uncontested.
-- In a last ditch effort to turn the game around, Crumbz initiates under Dig's tower with a beautiful flash/taunt. Unfortunately, this gives SAJ the ace and the win.

Phreak says, SAJ won in the first 5 minutes when Dignitas did not react to their setup.
