Team Comp: 3 AD + Armor Reduction

Wukong
Xin Zhao
Urgot
(substitute Darius?)

Reasoning
Wukong brings 30% armor reduction.
Xin brings 15% armor reduction.
Urgot brings 20% AoE armor reduction.

Items
Xin gets BC
Everyone gets LW if they stack armor


Scenario (Edited to correct math)
Consider a target with 300 armor (~3800 gold)
Black cleaver (takes time) => 255 armor.
After armor reduction from all three => 121 armor.
Armor Pen runes (+mastery) => 90 armor.
Last whisper (+mastery) => 45 armor.

300 is reduced to 45


Consider a target with 200 armor (~2200 gold)
Black cleaver (takes time) => 155 armor.
After armor reduction from all three => 74 armor.
Armor Pen runes (+mastery) => 43 armor.
No Last Whisper.
200 is reduced to 43


Consider a target with <100 armor (little gold)
Black cleaver (takes time) => 55 armor.
After armor reduction from all three => 26 armor.
Armor Pen runes (+mastery) => 0 armor.
No Last Whisper.
100 is reduced to 0


Result
Focus firing reduces armor to ~45.
If they stack armor to 300, you can still bring them to ~45 with LW at a cost of 900g (after subtracting the value of +40AD).

Concerns
Must focus fire to be effective.
Urgot's armor pen is not 20% initially, and is often leveled last.

Question
Have you tried this team comp or a similar 3x AD armor reduction team comp?
Was it successful?

Edited math in original post. Percent reduction goes first. The idea is still there--not a huge difference. Has anyone tried this or something like it?

If you go up against a tanky team, Cho, Malph, etc... and they get some warmogs and/or thornmail... they might just kill you... without ever attacking.

I like the concept, but the idea behind having a mix of damage is being hard to counter. With having AP and physical damage you are forcing them to build 2 types of defensive items which can slow their build down to a crawl and they may never reach full damage potential if you are stomping them. The line of thinking is good but I think you would get countered too hard against a team that ran double bruiser and AP, or ran a CC-heavy team(which is usually what wins games in 3s). Keep thinking outside the box though!

Please consider that these tanky champions would have their armor reduced from 300 to ~45. The gold they spend stacking armor benefits them very little. This is the point of the team comp.
The natural response to 3x AD is to stack armor (as you have suggested), but this team could make armor ineffective.

Good point, thank you. Have you considered that it is equally expensive to defensively counter this team comp?
Would you build armor to counter this team? That would be a waste since they can reduce 300 armor down to ~45.
Would you build health? Health is not cost effective (compared to damage items) without resistance to back it up.

A CC heavy team is always valuable on TT. This team comp has decent CC.
Wukong: AoE knockup
Xin: AoE knockback. AoE slow. Popup.
Urgot: Suppression. Ranged slow.

with building thornmail one of them could get zekes for the team lifesteal.

If you hit late game you will be in trouble. They dont have to JUST stack armor. The armor also has other effects.

Thornmail-Hurts you
Frozen HEArt-Slows AS
RAndiums Odem-Slows AS
Add to that triple exaust (which they would take if smart seeing your team comp) and the armor would be the least of your problems. Its the added effects form them that would hurt.

Itemisation. The armour is cheaper and because of this it is easier to get it early-mid game than the arpen. They can buy a Tabi and Aegis/Glacial shroud or have parts of randuins before you ever get an apen item. Also the laning is iffy if you do that. Xin will jungle and get wriggles setting the expensive build back further? Or will there be 2 that share a lane and split cs? Either option sounds bad.

Things to conisder:
Apen without apen items. Is it enough early?
Factor in the price of boots unless you dont want to lose everywhere on the whole map in 2v3s and 1v2s and lose all buffs.
Factor in wriggles for jungle or at least some early LS so whoever is there doesn't fall behind too much.
Also Malphite. You say his armour would be reduced from 300 to 45. Do you understand he would have far more armour than that? That is his armour in regular game but don't you think it would be higher against only ADs?
