Yegg, why have you only issued bans to certain public streamers - there are some people who do not advertise their activities so overtly, but could easily be determined using IP checks (and cross referenced with their main accounts).

Why hasn't this between considered?

... They are, it's just that those people mentioned are popular streamers.

Look at the thread title. They've only issued bans for those openly advertising it (streaming) - no mention of others..

Are you only banning those that did boosts for profit?

These players specifically put themselves out there by streaming their activities. We felt that it was important that everyone knew what happened since these are visible names in the community, rather than having to speculate about every streamer that happens to not be active today.

We won't be listing the names of the boosting recipients who were banned, or of the players who are banned in our ongoing analysis.

It's funny you should say this -- because I really was wondering why Dye and Lee weren't streaming today :/

But you can't disqualify a cheating team at the world's right? Justice? You know nothing about it..

good. you caught 4 people elo boosting. what about the big websites like elojob.com that have probably boosted a ton of accounts

This is only the beginning. We're in the midst of a full analysis and will be issuing further bans once we've identified other players and accounts that have engaged in Elo boosting. This should happen in the next couple weeks.

Made me laugh for some reason.
