I'm getting FPS readings of like 5-12 on most games, which is quite terrible and lags my game up, even when my ping is in the 30-50s. Is this because of the transition between pc to mac and the directx problem of not being on the mac? Is this being worked on to be fixed or is this more of a personal problem of my mac computer?

I had the same issues with the fps on my computer even though i had all the video settings running on "low" to see if that improved the graphics development and fluidity.
Im running on a MAcbook with the following specs.

2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 3MB on-chip shared L2 cache
1066MHz frontside bus
2GB (two 1GB SO-DIMMs) of 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM; two SO-DIMM slots support up to 4GB

Graphics card is the following:
GMA X3 100 Built in GPU.

its the GMA graphics card

i think you need an nvidia to be anywhere near playable (20-30 minimum) on the mac client

Yes, the built in GAM 950 graphics card is not very powerful and you will not get very good framerate, even at very low settings.

Haven't checked my graphics settings yet but...

While playing in bootcamp I get fps upwards of 60 on max settings.

While playing in osx the same computer is struggling to get 30fps.

System specs:
2010 13" MBP
2.4ghz C2D
4gb ram
320m graphics

I Have experienced the same issue. 50-60 fps on low settings with windows, and 20 on OSX.

I have also noticed that I take much longer to load into the game initially.

Compared both default and low settings, no shadows and benchmark fps.

I know it is a weak GPU but it isn't integrated, and was highly successful at running LoL before.

the mac client still isn't as good as windows client, driver support and cider and stuff

even at top graphics card, mac client will still be choppy... just wait it out, until its all fixed

Ive also have been experiencing really low frames. i know this is due to the x3100 chip i have but i run fine in bootcamp with 30 fps but under mac i get 1-3. Really good job though guys looks great im sure when the actual realease of the games come out us low end macbook users will be able to experience bootcamp fps.

The OS of mac doesn't handle task, multitasking, and graphics the same way that Windows OS does. When comparing the same game on both System with the same computer, either a Mac running Windows 7 or a PC running Snow Leopard, The Snow Leopard OSX will always have the lowest FPS.

It's the way that Mac handle task that is the trouble. But I do have to admit that 5-12 is quite low.
