If we bulit a machine that made itself does that have life...

When is artifical intelligence considered life... If at all..

Could rbots ever be considered alive...

This would exclude several mix breeds from being alive. I think if we can scientifically reproduce something it still qualifies. Especially when considering non-natural breeds.

They would need to have biological processes occurring. At that point I think we could call them alive.

Machines don't/can't reproduce biologically, and they would need to, to be considered life.

Again, does it eat and reproduce? Life doesn't even need to move or deficate, it just needs the ability to eat and reproduce.

No. "Fire" is a chemical reaction, it has no substance, and is not a single being that eats or reproduces biologically.
