I think it's fair to say humans are considered alive...
So are animals, they make decisions and have functionality..
Trees and plants are considered life... But why? Because they breathe..
What about bacteria is that considered alive..
Diseases?


What defines our idea of "life"?

The ability to grow, respond, adapt, metabolize and reproduce, as per the biological definition.
