You're already attacking the second you started learning

The battle is won long before the fight ever occurs.

Referring to the lessons of tsun tzu makes you sound like a giant ninja rat ya know. True story.

Today I'm gonna learn more about warding cuz I just my first success pvp jungle fiddle was successful. I'm watching pvp under the assumption I need to question my own methods. I haven't seen everything I need yet but I just saw a lot of interesting things about jayce

Ah and here I thought it's gonna be some nice advice...
Knowing champ's abilities doesn't mean anything if you can't do **** about it. And besides people u see as match ups for spec mode most definitely will play differently from your every day average scrubs. Even if they try to imitate build from spec mode.

It IS sound advice.

"DARIUS IS SO STRONK HOW TO STOP"

If you can actually find a high ranked game that uses him, spectate it. Watch how they deal with him.

"BLITZCRANK SO STRONK HOW TO STOP"

See above.

"THIS GUY SO STRONK-"

See above.

The first step to winning is to stop crying for the other guy to let you win. The second step is use that thing between your ears.

Amen.

If you think X champ is OP

1. Play them.
Learn how they work and pay attention to what you have problems with while playing as them.

2. Spectate games with said champ.

Watch for what was done correctly on those champs when they were successful. More importantly, pay attention to what the opposing champs did wrong that led to them losing against said champ.

3. Take the information you gathered form playing with, playing against, and observing said champ at high level play. And apply it.

No champ is inherently overpowered. Improper play, and ignoring conditions in game are usually the cause of people screaming "Champ X is OP and needs to be nerfed!"

everyday average scrubs dont typically appear in spectator mode. They are slightly above average with the basic ideas. If you think looking at their abilities is all youre doing then youre not gonna learn much from actually playing the game either.

Btw, dont underestimate knowing the details of an ability.

fiora lolz at darius
pantheon lolz at towers
irelia lolz at all her supposed hardcounters.
ahri lolz at the xerath ult and faceroll ap chogath combo

Knowing little details can be all the difference just like how all the little runes and masteries add up into something bigger.

enough water drops can destroy a continent
