In regards to the Asian/NA differences

It looks like a lot of people are unhappy that the Asian teams are dominating. However ask yourselves this:

These NA teams adhere to a strict meta because they assume everyone else is going to do it as well, in order to match skill against skill, instead of 'cheesing'. However, the current meta encourages a rather passive playstyle, in order to farm up creeps and dragon for end game.

Now the Asian teams are considerably more aggressive, and it's easy to see why. They're simply taking into account that the NA teams are too passive and predictable to adequately and effectively react to and counter an aggressive team. It's over before the match starts mostly likely, unless the NA teams can improvise and use intuitive thinking to combat the Asian teams strategy.

Yea and they're proving that our strategy is still boring and easily beaten. Let's switch it up.

I play aggressively in my matches, and without the support of a likeminded team, or teammates who are trying to hold onto the old passive meta, it's extremely difficult to do wello.

Issue is the same in other games Asian teams have way better team workin skills while an teams always seem to be trying for a star player type spot

That's not even why the difference in skill exists. Asian teams lock themselves in their gaming house and do nothing that doesn't make them better at the game. NA teams practice relatively hard, but take lots of breaks and allow themselves many distractions. NA teams just don't try as hard as Asian teams.

You won't find this aggression in solo queue because most American players are boring, unimaginative, and are too set in on fearing risk instead of embracing it.

I specifically remember hearing in some announcement or something that a lot of the NA teams' players habitually do solo/duo queue and rarely practice together as a team. Not sure how true that is, but it would explain their lack of teamwork/communication/flow.

If there is no risk, there's no reward. Without the threat of risk or the promise of reward, there's no reason to change or alter behavior or strategy. There's no learning or improvement. It's stagnant.
