Here the judges will post the results of their reviews. The rubric for the judging is as follows:

Abilities (requirement): 3 possible points for Innate and each Ability (25 max)

Stats (requirement): 2 possible points.

Abilities (Bonus): 2 points possible for originality and ability to ability sync.

Lore (bonus): 2 possible points.

Picture (bonus): 1 possible point.

Total: 17 (Core) + 13 (Bonus) = 30 max points

I will now begin to explain how the points function.

Abilities/Innate

Abilities are the core of any concept's design, and without them are nothing. Therefore the core of the judging for this contest is the abilities that each designer created. The five possible points for the abilities boil down to this.

1. Ability-to-Ability Sync (Bonus):

Does the abilities, and/or innate, link up with the other abilities in obvious ways. This includes placing or igniting of marks or special effects when used in combination. Additionally resource innate or abilities are included.
2. Clarity:

Does the ability/innate fully explain itself? Are there questions when reading? Small things are excused, but larger questions like; unexplained marks, missing duration, unclear secondary effects.
3. Originality (Bonus):

Is the ability/innate unique in it's own right? I'm not talking about super, never been done before, idea, just something that is different.
4. Balance:

Quote:
Cooldowns, costs, durations, effects, etc. The balance of an ability is almost as key as the clarity of one. In fact they connect in many ways. A concept with low clarity will be difficult to determine balance.
5. Theme/Class Sync:

Quote:
Another thing that ties a concept together is it's adherence to class or theme. An assassin, for example, should not be able to tank. At least not innately (Huge AR/MR bonuses). That ruins the purpose of an assassin who is high damage for high risk.

Stat Points

Stats are of core importance to a concept. Even if it's just explained as Moderate or Low. These help viewers and reviewers to determine the viability of a concept in it's role, or it's balance in conjunction with it's abilities.

Here we are talking about having basic values to the numbers as opposed to 9000 health at level 1.

This is determining if the logical numbers match what is expected on the class of the concept. AKA an assassin with 700 base health and 80 starting Armor and Magic Resist is a no no.

Bonus Content

I know that designers like to take a further step in the creation of their concepts, and I think that is a wonderful thing. So, I have decided to award a max of 3 bonus points for, well, bonus content to a design.

Yes, logic again. Do the characters you use (Current League Characters) act the way that has been established.
2. (Lore) Story Flow:

Does the story fallow a line of thought, or just dance around without giving enough information to be coherent?

Additional content helps to show the zeal that the designer had when making it, and really catches the public eye when they view it. Making it more likely to get comments and reviews. Thus I reward a bonus point to anyone who has such, but only one point.[/I]

Alright to begin with the final judging I will take the average scores of all the judges. Then I will use the modifiers (Elder Judges Opinions) to alter them. The final scores will be the result. Remember the average scores are averages, and the final scores are final.

Something that all participents should realize is that although the scoring is out of 30. There are only 17 core points to the challenge. Meaning that if you scored above 17 then your concept have more then achieved the goal of the challenge. I will only be waiting to get in contact the last Elder Judge (Styrgwyr) to hear his opinions on the final scores.

Oh right, Flames, if an elder judge is also a contestant, are they allowed to "secondary judge" other concepts (not their own concept, obviously)?

I'll be honest that I'm losing faith to some people of the Player Concept. I'll be dropping the contest right now, no need to judge my champion anyway since it is pretty pointless that you are giving reviews without even saying what were missing or anything (Stats? Really? It's the very first thing you would see.) Too much on numbers? oh c'mon, show me a champion that is COMPLETELY BALANCED, one that when implemented into the game than will not requiring any TWEAKS or any changes of the slightest.

Elitism at it's best. I can say a few handful of people are truly knows how to review a champion but I'm sorry, this is definitely not the way. No offense on the people belonging to the Council or whatever your little group is but yeah, elitism is bad but having a good direction to lead new people is all and nice but at least make them comfortable with it.

Sorry FlamesofTerror but this contest is not worth my time anymore as much as I enjoyed it that much.

I'm sorry you feel that way Chris, because the judging isn't finished. We carefully evaluate each submission after the three main judges present their scores. The final result could surprise you, but if you feel that, to be honest half way through the process, it's not worth your time then I wish you the best in your future work.

To be honest I've given people full reviews of their work after the contest is finished if they ask. As a tribute to the work they put forth in a short time. I feel that each one has it's own flair that makes it a viable champion, and thus an addition to the League. I had to scout what judges I could from the people I could contact in the forums for this one. I would have liked to have three random people preform the duties. In the end I will wait for the last judge to present his rulings, and then post the final results of it.

Though I'll give some points that existed prior to the creation of this system, let the contestants defend themselves for their entries as they made it with their pride and creativity and seeing it go down the drain is something one does not take it easily. I wont question the fairness of these judgements since I assume our judges knows what they are doing, but I have just one quick question

I have another AD carry concept in the works and I have somewhat similar stats for him, so if anything is wrong with them I would like to know what :/ Mainly because they are very similar to already existing AD carry champions so I fail to see the problem.
