They need to make a good system where people vote on people's influence and how well they did in matches. Of course, this wouldn't work, but oh well...

U know riot designed a way of limiting how much people play proving grounds ? Limit the amount of max ip u can get.

Same way for game u need 1 extra ip get a goddamn ward ..limit 10 ip irrespective of what u buy or sell
so we wont have noobtards doing as suggested above

The value in wards is seeing an area that your enemy does not. If you make wards free or too cheap or make it so everyone uses them, they lose the value immensely. The current model is fine.Don't blame or change the game because a portion of the player base refuses to play the game ideally.

Rather than 'IP for Wards' or anything like this, why not simply have an option at the end of the match to indicate wether or not any particular player was good, and award a small bonus IP for players who get positive ratings from their teammates or opponents. rewards good teamwork and play practices without being able to be exploited quite as easily.

Make each ward last 3 minutes, with a 1:30 cooldown (not subject to CDR), so that each champion could have at most 2 wards out at any given time. This gives the team 10 wards to play with and allows you to have some in reserve if needed, but it frees you from having to buy them and keep them on you. I think a lot more people would use them and learn how to use them correctly if this were the case, and it adresses many of the issues that Aureline pointed out.
And every champion gets them? No thank you, GG jungler, you are now seen wherever you go ever because there are 4 wards near every lane.
