I use FFSplit since it is free and just as easy to use but yeah those settings will work

Erm any recommendations? Because when I stream, my friends are telling me that it lags.
Is FFSplit better?

Everything looks good enough to stream. Is it lagging on your computer at all or just on your stream?

Completely depends on your UPLOAD speed. Your bitrate is set to 3100 so you need 3.1+mb/s of CONSISTANT UPLOAD SPEED in order to stream with such a high bitrate. Speedtest.net

If you have high enough upload speed and they say that it lags, it's probably because your friends download speeds aren't at least 3.1 mb/s. (3100 bitrate) or you are connected to a wonky server location via xsplit.

it is possible that you aren't getting the full upload speed that you are paying for. That is just the thing with internet companies

I have 2.8up when I do speedtests but can only consistently keep 1700 bitrate for streaming.

Fios Quantum is 300/65

Dunno where you got 50/25 from, but it's advertised as 300/65 for me.

1700 is more then enough for streaming, ive got 0.9 and i stream at 720p with no lag and pretty solid quality. turn your bitrate down.
