Point #1: Those who went to tribunal only for ip were voting incorrectly on a majority of cases
Point #2: You only get ip on correct votes

If the people who went to tribunal only for ip were always wrong getting no ip for voting wrong, why remove it altogether? For those who went there to make a better community, it was just icing on the cake. I really don't understand the reasoning here especially given those two things (one of which was said in the video).

The noise of inaccurate Tribunal voters makes it harder to to sort punish cases from pardon cases.

Because their wrong votes are potentially getting in the way of correct verdicts.

Because the people who went there for the IP did it for the IP and not to help the community. Therefore, removing the IP only helps.

The majority of cases that go before the tribunal should end in punish, primarily because it requires a dominant trend across multiple games. That said, the most accurate way to be correct on some, but not all cases, was to vote punish on all of them via a bot or simply waiting out the delay and voting punish while perusing funnyjunk.

The new system's also just so much more gratifying and offers more of a sense of fulfillment for those participating to make a difference.

How do you have an inaccurate report? Judgement criteria is "Would you want to play with that guy", Lyte stated this himself. You can't have a wrong opinion on preference of who you want to play with........

One could accidentally click the report button next to the wrong person. Bam.

I'm not talking about reports, I'm talking about verdicts.

A verdict's "correctness" is determined by voting, so said voting cannot be correct or incorrect by definition.
