Will anything EVER be done to compensate for a 4v5?

Didn't think about that, you're completely right. Except, what if the afk guy had his gold/exp gains reduced by the amount that his team had theirs increased? Think something like that could be balanced?

what about altered point capture speeds? Make it easier for a team with a dc'd player to take a point. If that player comes back, the speed is reset. This wouldn't have the problem of the gold/exp boost. Of course, the change would have to be the right amount so it's not so easy the 4 team can overrun the 5.

and/or respawn time changes. same idea as cap rate. so killing the 4 team doesn't leave them down as long since they are already at a disadvantage
