Nasus, same style as Veigar.
Poppy is sort of her own special version of awesome.

And Yi is not a hyper carry.

Tristana is the hypercarriest of all hyper carries. Best late game AD carry by far, but has a really crappy midgame. Nothing is as scary as an IE/PD/LW/GA trist, IMO.

Lee Sin. Even Riot admits it in their Champion Spotlight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3DWC...eature=related

Carry in game terms refers to the champion that does the majority of the damage in team fights.
They're usually squishy and can chunk 1 or 2 other squishy champions really fast at end game when they get fed.

Hyper Carries. hard to define, but I would say it's a "Carry" that can 1v5 and come out on top consistently. This means that they either have to do enough damage to murder everyone, or be tanky enough (or have some ability) to allow them to survive the 1v5, or some combination of both.

Poppy for instance has her ulti which makes her immune to 4 of 5 opponents. That combined with high damage output would allow her to kill the team. Even when her ulti goes down, she still has a powerful passive to allow her to survive. Late game, Poppy can 1v5 and kill 1-2 opponents and still walk away alive.

If Nasus farms up his Q, he can start 1-2 shotting squishies, and this with having a minimal offense build, so he can invest in defense items to become very difficult to kill while still being able to deal the damage needed to murder a majority of the team. Additionally his ultimate will deal good AoE damage and heal him a bit.

Veigar is less of a hyper carry, but he can still pull it off if he farms his Q enough and has full build with 40% CDR. His problem is that he's still squishy.

Jax and Kayle used to be hyper carries too, for different reasons.
Jax used to be able to stack offense and gain defense due to passive, then convert into different defense with his ulti, then he had insane dodge. So he was able to resist a ton of burst damage, and avoid the majority of auto attacks from carries all the while dishing out carry level damage.
Today, Jax is weaker, but he still has the potential.

Old Kayle and old Sivir were hyper carries too, but for different reasons. They were hyper carries due to massive amounts of AoE damage dealt through Auto attacks. Kaye would splash and old sivir's ricochet would bound everywhere effectively multiplying her damage output by 5. If your opponents stood too close, their entire team would melt in an instant.

Today, Sivir is just a regular carry, and Kayle's damage potential is severely weakened (she used to gain AP from building AD, and AD from building AP allowing her to be a true hybrid damage dealer). Kayle still in theory has the potential to be a hyper carry, but like jax, it's much weaker now.

Trist doesn't really have hyper carry potential. She needs a ton of protection to do her job like any typical carry.
