As we all know, Riot did some changes to Garen recently. They changed his w, so now you don't need minion kills to get full stacks of your w. They said that, if garen gets zoned, his w becomes weak, and if he dominates his lane, he'll get his stacks. They said that it was too snowbally. Well, I found out that its similar to oracles.

With Oracles, its just like that. If you are doing badly, you'll just waste 400 gold when you die. If you and your team are dominating, your oracles will serve you well. Its too snowbally. Just to let you know GD. sorry about the bad grammar :/

It's not snowbally, both teams want Oracles, but you don't buy it on a laner. Jungler gets it first, then support gets it usually.

It's not a laning item, it doesn't help you win lane if you're already winning lane. It also doesn't get better the better you do, like snowball items.

And that wasn't the reason they changed Garen's W, they changed it so he's more viable late-game, and doesn't completely get shut off if he's zoned early-mid.

Oracle's is a utility item. It does not snowball.

Do not try to change oracle. Oracle is perfect just like that...

I kind of agree that oracles does have the potential to snowball a game. If one team gets to keep there oracles up for a while the other team can be completely choked off from vision. It's especially frustrating if your oracles user dies and can't buy a new one right away which denies you the ability to cut vision.

Your options if your constantly being ward swept are quite limited:
1. You can hope to catch the oracles holder out of position and kill them, but it only works if your team is ahead and can force a fight or you know they are isolated from help. How can you know if they are isolated from help?
2. Your entire team needs to invest in wards and ward up the whole map so you can tell whenever they are isolated. It's pretty good play but it does but your carries behind in gold and provides more free gold for the enemy oracles user to collect.
3. You have your support give up on ever getting useful auras and just sink gold into oracles and wards and hope to deny as much enemy vision as possible while also keeping some vision up. Good luck in team fights with no Aegis, Zekes, or Shurelyas.

The easy remedy to having a hard to stop oracles user on the enemy team is quite simple, Dispels. LoL currently has no dispel in any form. You cannot cancel a Blood Boil or Wild Growth with a dispel. However, dispels are kind of anti-fun since the enemy effectively gets to cancel one of your champions abilities.

I think it'd be impossible for Riot to add a dispel as a champion ability since they would just become a crazy good hard counter against someone like Tryndamere, Kayle, or Oracles users in general. Making a dispel into an item is also not a optimal idea since even with a long CD it would simply allow anyone to counter a champion that had a annoying selfbuff or purchased consumables. The obvious solution is to add an item that functions as a dispel so that the counter for oracles is for your support to buy a dispel pill and throw it on the enemy support or jungler. The consumable could be made to cost say 350 gold so that laning champions would think twice about buying it to counter there lane opponent since using the item to get a kill would result in a loss of gold unless they were on a spree.

Never played with a dispel. Is it like QSS but targets enemies buffs, instead of your own debuffs?

And if so, what would be the interaction with Fiora, Vlad, and Fizz (mainly vlad and Fiora since Fizz's is short).

Oracles does kind of "snowball" for the winning team. The losing team can't use wards to help them out, they get even more shut down because enemy support has free reign whilst losing support probably can barely afford to buy oracles, much less keep it once the fighting starts.
