Hello everyone and the time has finally come.
US Cybergamer is now launching The Inaugural Tournament for League of Legends.

This will be a 128 bracket system with single elimination until the Semi/Final rounds.
The top 6 placed teams will be rewarded with a Riot Point Prize Package.
HOWEVER, should you manage to win the tournament you will win a spot in the following 16 Team Tournament. You will compete here for $1,000 and a chance to play against some of NA's best such as Orbit Gaming, Curse, TSM, and CLG.

So if you're looking for a chance to try your team in some competition, to have some fun, or to prove you have what it takes to be in the big leagues then register at:
http://us.cybergamer.org/tournament/147/

Simply create your team, invite your members and join the tournament. It's that simple.

There is no entry fee, nothing to lose and everything to gain. See you guys at the tournament.

-Venalis

Its pretty much a requirement these days to set a date man. Kinda hard to set a schedule for teams to be on when we don't even know when it is.

The title is very misleading, because the tournament is basically a (only) RP prize qualifiers for another tourney that would really have the $1000 prize.

Its very unlikely that Curse, TSM, and CLG would play in a tournament that had only $1000 prize pool (assuming you split it with 1st, 2nd, 3rd) unless you personally have connections.
Please don't false advertise when you don't even know if they will be competing in it.

It also doesn't look good that you don't even answer OberonDark and instead bump.

We just need more information and confirmation, because this seems plausible, but very fishy.

Oh I apologize for the little information. This was simply meant as an initial post, I didn't respond to the date request due to the possibility us moving the date of the tournament.
The official date of this Inaugural Tournament will now be September 29th-30th.

As far as the teams and prize pool for the secondary Tournament it will be a $1,000 first prize, winner take all.

If you're interested in competing feel free to sign up and create a team.

There will be a much more detailed post released soon

You forgot to include Orbit Gaming which Venalis happened to coach at MLG Anaheim.

Also, it is a winner take all .
