Oh... Umm... No, I'll go do that. You just focus on the shipments. Yeah...

Rald prepared to defend with his short sword before noticing the feint. This time his other sword was ready to defend as he brought it across to defend against Lucas' attack, deciding to wait back a bit before he made his counter or assault, his wider stance allowing him more leverage to hold Lucas' sword back easier.

And what's wrong with the shipments, other than them being sent to other interests?

Lucas pulled back into a far distance and took up a defensive stance, waiting for Rald to make a move this time. When one tactic wasn't working, you went with the other one.

N-nothing at all! I don't think. I haven't been focusing on them. I'll talk to the penguins you just concentrate on the shipments... Yeah...

Noticing Lucas pull back Rald rushes in, closing it down to long distance before bounding towards Lucas' left side, closing the gap to middle as he plants his left foot back and springs off it to slide forward, leading with his right foot in a less open stance than he had before, holding his short sword defensively in front of him as he swings from diagonal left down, expecting it to defended as he moves his blade after the strike to swing from the opposite angle though flatter than his sharper vertical angle from before.

Your second sentence will either have you going very far or very fired.

Lucas turned so that his sword remained facing Rald as he approached. When Rald struck, Lucas raised his blade to block, blocking the other swing with a quick move of his sword as well.

... *comes back after a time* All sorted. They are accepting the shipments and sending us... Extra munitions.

Rald didn't move in any further, but continued to swing at various angles, his short sword flowing around him defensively to help prevent a counter-attack. This would be a good test of their skills as one attack flowed into another, dropping to a main hand defense if Lucas went to strike after completing a block.

Excellent. Now deliver unto them their fish that we've had on backorder.

Lucas continued to block with the least amount of movement necessary, his rigid practice schedule showing and coming to fruition. There wasn't really any openings, as he saw, and he was too busy defending to try to make one, so he just stayed on defense.

Right away!

Lucas was forced to put a bit of strength into his blocks as each strike hit in somewhere between 'onto the next' and 'quite hard' as they both moved back and forth a little, Lucas' defense preventing any strikes getting through. With a solid defense, Rald was going to have to force Lucas into an unfavorable position. Upon completing one of his horizontal strikes from the left with his longsword he slid in a bit, pushing out his short sword aiming to hit Lucas' sword away as his main hand prepared for a strike. It put him in less of a defensive position, only allowing him to slide back as his only real defence option. But he was still in a good attack position, ready to strike.

Excellent.

Lucas reacted to the push attempt by quickly bringing his sword down and moving to his left to put Rald's sword further into the path of any swing Rald might make. Re-settled, he raised his sword back to ready position and waited for the next move.

And everything goes ahead on schedule...

Rald's eyes followed Lucas, pushing off so he could turn to face her as quick as possible, his short sword swinging across rapidly like he had been looking to defend against a possible counter attack. When it didn't come he adjusted his stance slightly, looking for his next move. Perhaps it was time for another style change? His guard seemed to lower a little as he moved to the outer reaches of middle distance, keeping his eyes on Lucas. He seemed a little lax though.

Perfect. Make sure to fill out those forms in triplicate

Lucas remained in a ready position, deciding to wait and see whatever Rald was trying to do. He seemed to be focused completely on his opponent to the exclusion of everything else, including the silent crowd.
