When there is a group of NPC and one of them is more difficult than the others (he deals more damage and has more HP), who should I kill first, the weak ones or the strongest?

For example, in blue buff there is the huge golem and two weak monsters beside him. Who should I kill first, the weak ones or the big golem?

You should always take out the strong monster in the camp first.

The longer you leave it alive, the longer it's beating on you for. Dealing with the smaller ones first ensures you'll take more damage. That and a fair few junglers have aoe that will carve up the smaller monsters while you beat on the big one anyway.

Well... Cenerae's logic is kind of not quite the strongest on why you kill the biggest first (though he's still right about killing the biggest first).

The smaller ones are more easily killed, so LOGIC would dictate that you quickly dispose of them so that only the big dude, who takes a long time to kill anyway, is hitting you. But in LoL, it doesn't work that way.

First, as Cenerae points out, quite a few junglers have AoE abilities (not all, but some). If you are playing one of these champions, often times the little monsters are dead purely from AoE before you finish the big one (for example, attacking Wraiths with Rammus, his W kills the little ones very quickly).

Second, the bigger monster gives some sort of a buff. With red and blue, that buff is obviously. With wolves, wraiths, and the non-blue golems, the bigger monster gives a healing buff. It will effectively counteract the damage the little ones have done once you dispatch the larger golem.

Third, just out of general principal, the largest monster in every camp gives more gold and more experience. If your jungle is invaded, it's better to have killed the larger monster and run away leaving the little ones behind (of course returning later to kill them) than it is to run away leaving just the big monster up.
