So according to the lore, everytime a summoner teams up with a champ that summoner dives into this champions mind and see's ALL about this champ. He/she cannot hide any secrets from the summoner.

However a champion, like say... Hecarim? Who want to destory the living, obviously has some big, scary, secret plan, right? (Since a lot has been going on over at the Shadow Isles lately). Now if the summoners would find out in an instant, yet they don't seem to react to these champions with ambitions such as Hecarims. So that raises the question, is it possible that some champions can "shield" certain part of their minds from the summoners without them knowing? I mean, if you have this whole MIND filled history, decisions, opinions, a whole LOT of information, one could potentially hide just a teeny, weeny bit without the summoners noticing since there's so much info.

What do you guys think?

well, to be honest Vayne shielded part of her mind during her "judgement" so it is possible.

Yea, Olaf and Vayne are confirmed to be able to shield their minds. Others probably can too,

Swain alluded that he did too. And I don't think any human summoner would be able to maintain sanity if they completely shared a mind with, say, Nocturne or Brand.

I think that the connection is more of a mental Venn diagram than it is a complete merger.

Summoners do not see everything when they link with champions, quite the contrary. In order to battle on the fields of justice, the summoner and champion link minds, escentially becoming "one". This does not give the summoner mind reading powers, it lets them both communicate. Information on a sensory and conscious level is shared, which means that (to an extent) the summoner can see what the champion can see, hear what they can hear, feel what they can feel and share their conscious thoughts throughout the match.

Just because a summoner links with Jarvan IV does not mean that they know everything about his past, present, motivations and goals. That would require actively scanning his mind in the middle of a match, which would surely be a violation of champion rights and would require some serious magic.

Champions apparently (Swain, LeBlanc and several others think otherwise) cannot hide secrets from the League, not a summoner. Judgements are often performed in an environment made for mind-reading, and are overseen by a High-Councillor. Hiding things from them would be difficult to say the least, but hiding things from a standard summoner during a match would not be hard at all.

It's like comparing hiding a crime from a single police-officer to hiding a crime from the Secret Service.

People who can shield their minds in confirmed lore from JOJ / judgements:

Swain
LeBlanc
Vayne
Lee Sin
Possibly others.

Kayle and Morgana are also other ones that have been confirmed to cause emotional feedback when they are summoned. Intense feelings of hate and anger flood back on their summoners when they take to the Fields.

Even more so when they are on the Fields together. They are so powerful that it is near bond breaking, the summoners apparently can barely hold it together at that point.

I doubt Karthus would let people into places where he doesn't want them. That includes places in his psyche.

When I think about it... Wouldn't seeing Malzahar's spirit and minds drive anyone crazy?
