i guess it could be interpreted either way really. you could say it the way you think it's pronounced, similar to how the japanese warlord Masamune Date's name was pronounced, or you could pronounce it as mana-myoon similar to masamune the legendary katana.

The katana's name is pronounced the same way.

just did a bit of google research and you are indeed correct.

wierd, i've been pronouncing the sword's name wrong all along. still sounds better as masa-myoon though imo, and i'll continue pronouncing it like that >.>

Anyone who disagrees will have to face my AP Sivir in a 1v1.

What to expect. People don't know how to pronounce Japanese correctly and immediately read it as mah-nuh-moon. =x

Pizza = Peet-sa.

Ballet = Bah-lay.

Cafe = Cah-fay.

I'm going to get some Piz-uh at the Cayf after watching the Bah-let.

By the way, none of those three words are Japanese, but they are present in American society.

Screw the bah-let, I'ma go watch the Toor dee Fraynz.

People in general fail at pronunciation, drives me bonkers.

EDIT: For those playing the home game.. the Tour de France is more accurately Tour (I hate words that are spelled phonetically how they should sound - reads lazy) d'Frauhns.

Now try and sound out 'Quebecois'. :3
