Would you really think someone like Nocturne would actually answer questions?

He's a being who's confined utterly and completely yet is borne from nightmares. Nightmares are an effect of the subconscious. If he can be birthed once by the dreamscape's terror, what's to say he can't try his best to be born again?

Like I said, it requires thinking. He's also had unknown amounts of time to exist within anyone's mind, meaning he's going to have a very VERY accurate idea what the inside of someone's mind is going to look like and how to manipulate fears (since that's his thing)

Short answer: Possible, hard to do, not for everyone.

Only people who can read minds.
And have a very dark imagination.

Nocturne would be possible in an RP that he was set free in, with the specific intention of being confined again b by the end of that RP.

He doesn't get much freedom otherwise. Definitely no Ask thread.

If we're letting Brand do it, you know, that guy who also wants to kill errything, why not Nocturne?

Seriously, this isn't hard to think around, and by limiting his character to "Mindless killing machine" you're actually undercutting Nocturne. L2Imagination people.

But...Nocturne's focus is citing fear and killing people in their dreams.

And a mindless killing machine who drools and can't formulate sentences is spooooooooky.

No, he has to be intelligent to incite true terror. Yes he can slice you up. Yes he's physically terrifying and dangerous. Yes he can and will kill you given the chance.

Yes he will incite Paranoia beforehand. "I'm going to kill you" isn't half as scary as invoking someone's deepest fear and killing them with it. Even the line "Are you getting tired yet?" is an outright threat designed to scare his own summoner. Yes, he deals in fear. No he doesn't just leap at anything immediately.

Man I didn't sign up for a character study today.

You're missing the entire point.

He can't be civil. If he were to do an ask thread, he'd basically terrify anyone that came near and/or come into their dreams and kill them.

If he were so solely motivated on killing summoners, he would never have bothered taunting and speaking to one of them, exactly as he did in his judgement. He would've just thrown himself at the dude, gotten chained and been a stupid, one dimensional character.
