I don't know if this has been mentioned, but with Alistar, you headbutt and if you hit Q while headbutt is in motion, it will knock them up and stun them in place without knocking them back. This is useful for when you don't want to knock them out of range.

You can sometimes tell when fiddle is nearby getting ready to gank because you get a Magic Resist debuff indication from his passive when he is within about 1000 range.

If you are playing Warwick - toggle off "Blood Scent" when you want to gank someone.

Junglers vs Annie: you can smite Tibbers! I haven't tested this on other pets (vs Malzahar, Mordekaiser, Yorick, etc) I'm sure it's worth trying!

Magic Penetration: 51 of the 99 Champions only have 30 MR. Most of them are carries who don't build MR. Magic Penetration (not reduction), will not go below 0. 10 magic pen in runes and sorcerer's shoes is enough for most opponents. If none of your skills have a range over 1000, build Abyssal Scepter instead of Void Staff (if you don't have sorcerer's).

Armor Penetration: Similarly the lowest armor champ is Heimerdinger at 61 @ level 18. Armor pen has a lot of breathing room.

Kat-tip:
- Don't build Rylai's on Katarina, rush a Hextech Gunblade.

- Never use your E (shunpo) to farm, It's you awesome escape tool that deals tons of damage after some levels.

- Q > E > W. You can do Q > W > E against champions that heals a lot (fiddle, swain, etc).

- ALWAYS get your Shunpo at level 2.

EVERYCHAMPION TIP:
- USE YOUR ITEM's ACTIVE! - Hextech Gunblade for ex.

Quite an old thread. But its really quite useful for Amateurs like me!

Here's a tip that the game says Lulu can do!

Pix Faerie Companion is very useful in not only adding that extra damage in AAs, but also in abilities. Using "Glitterlance", two shots go off, one from Lulu, the other from Pix. Use "Help, Pix!" and set it on Ally, enemy, or even a minion! And you have extra distance for the "Glitterlance" ability! This has helped me many times when the enemy would always back off then come back. I launch it on a minion thats on the champion (or on the champion directly), and used this ability! although my aiming is terrible... im sure there are others that can work well with this!

It can waste mana fast if used frequently, so watch out!

When playing as Malzahar, at level 1 take Call of the Void and use it 3 times in the fountain before you leave, then when you get into lane when you use it your voidling comes up so you get an early farming and pushing advantage without losing mana if you use it 4 times in lane.

With Nidalee, her Q, the javelin toss, does more damage the father away the target is, so a lot of people will hide behind minions to stop this. If you want to hit spears, then hide yourself to make it seem your not in lane, so they do not hide behind minions. Try hiding behind the wall next to your tower that enters the jungle, or walk around and go in the bush in the river thats right next to the lane. this way you can hit spears much more effectively. Also, if you have a twich or evelynn in your lane, or they have a jungler, DO NOT BUY WARDS. Nidalee has free wards that do damage and reveal your target for a few seconds. Just plant them in bushes, and less traveled parts of the lane. Your bushwack should always be on cooldown because your constantly using it. obviously dont use it if your low on mana and want to use your last bits of mana for heals or spear harrasing.
