It may seem odd for a port town like Bilgewater to have an art gallery since anything of value is a target for plundering, unless the exhibits are already, shall we say, borrowed. The gallery showcases art from all around Valoran, usually acquired by shady means, and often favors content relating to a life at sea or Bilgewater’s own unique culture.

The gallery exhibits come and go depending on the luck of the philanthropic privateers, and they are looking to expand their collection once more. How about contributing something of your own?

Your task is to create League of Legends fan art with pirate flair!

 • This must be your own work! You have to draw or create all of it!
 • It must be League of Legends themed, in a direct and noticeable way.
 • It should have a pirate theme.
 • Pictures submitted must be in BMP, JPG/JPEG, PNG, or GIF format.

The medium need not matter; draw, paint, sculpt, do whatever your inner artist desires and submit to us by September 15th, in time to showcase it for Talk Like A Pirate Day on September 19th.

Six illustrious entries will earn the grand prize... Gangplank’s Bounty, consisting of a 9 Day IP Boost and 2800 Riot Points. There will be other winners and honorable mentions with prizes, so submit your entries, including your summoner name and region, to contests@riotgames.com before Wednesday, September 15th. If you want to be official about it, the contest rules are right here (http://www.leagueoflegends.com/contests/bilgewater-gallery).

Wield yer brushes fiercely, me hearties!

If I "borrow" the Mona Lisa, and crudely draw a pirate ship over it in crayon, would I win?

Yo check it.

....Though if it's the original Mona Lisa, I'd value your daring.
