What if they get rid of the bright red line that connects Caitlyn to the enemy? Wouldn't that make it harder to block while still keeping it the same?

I suggested this a while back--
If Cait's ult is intercepted by an unintended target, the bullet deals 33% more damage
This way, people think twice about blocking that shot.

Actually making it do true damage almost sounds good.

Its supposed to be an execution move, and the true damage would make a tank think twice before stepping in front of it. Either that or the penetration thing that would reduce damage every target it flies through, but that would really change the feel of the ult.

I don't even understand why Caitlyn's ult is that way in the first place.
The skill that inspired it, Sniper's Assassinate has much lower cooldown (20/15/10 seconds), is not blockable, does not have a giant laser beam + circle screaming BLOCK ME (only the allied team see a target) and it is not a problem at all.

Leave it tthe way it is currently, cooldown, damage and all, but remove the giant laser + reticle visual effect for the enemy team.
