This is kinda like ENFOS, you should google it to get some other ideas. ENFOS is a similar map concept from W3. Anyways, bump

actually reminds me of dungeon defender or any of those games played based upon "waves of enemies" that increase in numbers and strength. Would be awsome to just kill monsters in a lane with nidalee lol

This is the coolest idea I've seen on GD.

I remember this basic scheme from watching friends play WC3 mods. Still totally worth doing.

It's like MvM on TF2. I hadn't played that in months until the co-op mode came out. I'm sure it'd be awesome here too!

For those who are curious, the project I ended up working on was not related to this one all that much, so sadly this is still mostly within the conceptualization stages.

I have looked into the Starcraft 2 editor some, though, and think I could probably make the map there in much better quality, though it'd take a remarkable amount of time to do so considering how much slower SC2 is for map design. I'll look into it later when I'm not preoccupied elsewhere.

Anyway, there have been some concerns and questions, so I shall cover these!

Actually, each of those would have a very useful place. Some of them, more so than in any current game mode.

Trundle would be remarkably powerful against bosses and great in the jungle, Blitzcrank could probably solo most of the minibosses that spawn on the lanes by dragging them into a tower. Others like Poppy (great at slaughtering a target with high regeneration but low defense/max health) or Fiora (similar to poppy but also good at mowing down minions), or Shen (jungler and a tank is needed for larger bosses) each have their own place as well.

By having specialized lanes and minibosses, it's much easier for each role to have a valid place in the game =3

I'd kind of come up with the idea before MvM was announced, if I recall, but in a way... yes, yes it is. I rather like MvM actually (It's one of the few modes in TF2 I rather enjoy), and don't consider the similarity a bad thing =3

I'll confess a little bit of inspiration was drawn from the actual Dungeon Defenders game (well worth the purchase on Steam, especially during the black friday sales if it goes on sale =3 ), as well as from a great many other sources, dating all the way back to old Starcraft 1 tower defense maps.

The basic concept is a rather fun one, and has been shown time and again to be greatly enjoyable for players in large numbers. It's practically guaranteed to greatly expand the player base, and would definitely hold more players to LoL instead of going to other games to get their PvE fix.

Being a specialist in one area of game design is good for a niche market, but the real way to dominate a market comes by drawing in many large niche markets together. There's a reason WoW's the #1 game on the planet for player base... it does "everything".

In any case, I still feel this is a fairly quick and easy way to introduce a new mode to the game which would garner many additional sales, as well as provide a great way to keep players playing LoL instead of wandering off to do something else.

I'm a little saddened that I can't devote myself to this particular project at this time, but I also feel there's more than enough listed already to get the ball rolling. If Riot decides to look into the matter, I'd be more than willing to provide further consultation on such and provide my documentation of notes and so on as well.
