Im planning on becoming a mid for a future ranked team. (Support as a secondary position) and I was just wondering if there are any times you guys are willing to share. Im not the best. Played 10 ranked games won 4 lost 6. Elo around mid 1100s. Just general stuff to watch for, stuff like that, Thanks!

Inb4: The answer is always Karthus.

What's to say?

- Don't fail at CSing
- Harass and zone to the best of your ability, without compromising on CS/positioning too much
- Don't overextend (very easy to overextend as solomid)
- Gank other lanes post 6 as much as possible, without losing your tower in the process
- and lastly, don't feed

- Wards
- Between waves try to steal the enemy wraiths or ask your jungler if you can take his wraiths
- Help the jungler with the ganks
- CS is more important than you think
- Before getting blue buff is good to push a bit so you won't loose cs at your tower
- Watch streams
- Get LoLReplay and after games look at the replays and see what you did wrong, what you did good, where you have to improve... ( always wanted to do this, too lazy )

I would watch streams and pro play, specifically Reginald if you play Karthus. He is undoubtedly one of the best Karthus players in the game, just watch what he does well.

play mid every game you can until you actually reach a decent elo like silver, you learn a lot from playing and realizing what worked and what didn't since midgame you often forget everything you should be doing, like checking how low the jungler was after his last gank
