I'm trying to get my friend into the game, and he has a MAC.

Well, a Mac is a pretty big handicap.

But, in all seriousness, I believe he can play.

they removed mac client, so he'll have to run it thru a windows emulator.

I used Boot Camp to get Windows on my Mac. Usually play on my Desktop, but it's nice to be able to let a friend use my Mac so we can play side-by-side or in the event I want to play elsewhere.

Boot Camp is pretty much entirely straight forward though. Just do some google searches.

there you go. there is the website for the forum and everything your friend will need to know about playing LoL on his Mac, without using bootcamp.

There is a rather large Mac forum. It contains all the information you could ever want. You should totally consider checking it out.

This works perfect I might add, I set it up on my roommates MacBook 2 days ago with no problems at all, very straight forward. Unfortunately in the end he found the game boring compared to his normal Call of Duty on Xbox live. Oh well
