The League has decided to encourage the champions to build positive relations with other champions, summoners, and the fans. What better way to do so than the #1 social networking site, Facebook? All League Champions are required to have the other Champions as friends. There is no requirement or limit on having summoners or ordinary people as friends, and they can add the champion at their discretion.

With "wall-to-wall" roleplaying, and roleplaying chats, everyone is welcome to apply as a champion or to create a roleplaying account based on an original character or summoner!

Major edit:
Since Facebook has "killed" chat rooms; we have set up an IRC channel where we host our chat-based roleplay. Those interested contact any of the administrators.

It's still on trial; and feedback is appreciated.

How To Participate

You can apply for any available champion. After reading your applications, one of the admins (usually Veigar, he's such a handsome yordle) prepares an in-character interview. If your portrayal of the character is accurate during it, then you're in!

Alternatively, you can create a roleplaying account based on one of your original characters and contact us. No need to apply for those, just make sure your character is not a Mary-sue! :P

Rules

1. Obviously, keep in character.
2. All champions must have other champions added.
3. Must be active at least once a week. If you have any problem with this, let the admins know ahead of time.
4. If you want to quit roleplaying for a champion, let the admins know, and give them the account information if possible. Can't let all those fans go to waste .
5. Do not harass non-Champions! A few champions have gotten in trouble for this.
6. Be active at least once a week. Even if it's tiny like saying "ok".
7. You must state somewhere that you are no affiliated with Riot Games and/or League of Legends. Sad, I know, but that's how the dice is cast.

Application:

Submit your application to runebookrpg@gmail.com only after filling out the following fields:

- First and Last Name / Alias
- Valid e-mail address*
- Is English your primary language?**
- Champion you are applying for
- Your activity per week, in hours, you can spend with the Runebook community.
- Have you ever roleplayed before?
- Do you have any ideas pertaining to interacting between other Champions and Summoners?
- A 500 word paragraph in-character of the Champion you're applying for, commenting on one or several Journal of Justice articles OR a fanmade judgment of the champion.
- Remember, around 500 words. Apps not meeting this quota will be ignored. If you don't bother meeting our standards - why should we bother considering you?
. Did I mention 500 words? That's five hundred, not fifty.

* Please do not preemptively make an e-mail account for the champion you are applying for. We already have most of them from older users, and they usually have 500+ fans.

** If not, please specify how comfortable you are with roleplaying in English.

The fact that this is done via Facebook is gonna keep me away from applying for Poppy, sorry.

You don't need a facebook to apply - it's just sending an email. The interview itself, well, that can be done over Skype, Roar chat, other IM's, or even the pvp.net client.

... and? I don't really get the point of this post.

Aside from being a League-of-Legends-based roleplaying community, no.

This has been going on for longer than the Lore Forums themselves, in fact.
