crit chance = damage

decrease 18% dmg to increas 15 dmg (if u have 3000 hp)

its a bad deal

What? crit chance is not flat damage, you have to crit for the extra damage to apply, you would be giving up a chance to crit for flat damage.

What you said makes no sense.

It isn't 18% damage in any way that you look at it. It is an 18% chance to crit. So no what he said does not make sense.

You took away the crit and reverted it to a 2% of health scaling? is that a viable option? why? or why not?

Mostly my point was that most Champs who build this item do not scale well with crit, and this in fact may be the only crit they have.

Why downvote me for asking your opinion on something?

The lol community is rude and stupid, anything SLIGHTLY offbeat will get MASSIVELY downvoted.

TL;DR community is rude and stupid, very rude and very stupid

100 AD with 1.0 AS

18% crit chance
100 * 0.82 = 82
200 * 0.18 = 36
82 + 36 = 118

100 + 18% = 118

OH SNAP 18% DAMAGE INCREASE

347 AD with 1.0 AS

18% crit chance
347 * 0.82 = 284.54
694 * 0.18 = 124.92

284.54 + 124.92 = 409.46

347 + 18% = 409.46

OH SNAP 18% DAMAGE INCREASE

If you gave it back the 2% scaling and removed the crit, Atma's is no longer different from BF sword+ chain vest. The average threshold for Atma's is 3k, so you only get 45 AD, and you'd get the same stats from BF sword+ chain vest along with nearly the same cost ._.

That math is incorrect. You are assuming that 18% crit chance means that you crit 18% of the time, crits are randomly generated meaning that there is a chance that you could never crit.

In addition the crit does not apply on every hit therefore, the flat damage is a greater increase to damage overall throughout a game unless you crit and unusual amount of time.

Just putting numbers together to get a desired answer does not make your reasoning or math correct.

Do you realize that you can go through a fight without one critical strike wven with crit chance?

TL:DR- That math is completely wrong, do you understand how crit chance/ math works?
