TSM and delaying matches

Game 3 of TSM vs Teamless in the Corsair Vengeance Cup demonstrated an issue that Dan Dinh discussed in the latest State of the League - that NA teams are comparatively untimely and do not respect schedules or the needs of tournament organizers to get matches going.

We saw multiple delays here. TSM locked in Urgot but changed the pick to Ashe in private chat. The game was remade (but not after another few minutes of Chaox yet to rejoin the lobby) but the pick system bugged out and some TSM members restarted their clients. TSM then proceeds to have some "drama time" discussing some issue with Xpecial irrelevant to the tournament, holding up the start of the game yet again, with all 10 players in the lobby and otherwise presumably ready to go. "sec," Oddone (edit: no, Dyrus) says. Apparently this is a pretty important issue. And then during the final and successful attempt to start the game, some TSM players didn't even have the courtesy to press the lock-in button. They let the timer run for the full picking period even though these picks had been decided nearly half an hour before.

Thankfully (?) TSM has a lot of popular draw and this won't affect their invitations to these tournaments in the future - but the behavior here displays a frankly flabbergasting disregard for being non-scumbags.

MiG waited over 40 minutes for a scrim with TSM a few days ago. Delays included Regi fiddling with his bank account, Xpecial not having champions for swaps causing a remake, someone banning a champion that was picked causing another remake, and Dyrus choosing the wrong runes causing yet another remake. These are innocent mistakes, but stacked on top of multiple team members making no effort to get in the game lobby for 20 minutes straight with the entire opposing team waiting inside, they create a pretty negative impression.

I like TSM. I'm a big fan of Chaox, adore the guy's mind and understanding of the game, and hope we can someday make a homestead and have a life together. But this was a pretty poor showing of sportsmanship and basic respect for other people, and I hope it gets fixed.

TSM was set on going Urgot Soraka bottom lane having locked in Urgot, but when Dyrus suggested he would Rumble top Chaox realized Ashe would fit the team comp better. Chaox locked in his own champion and then changed his mind - G3 of the Corsair tourny had nothing to do with filler-swaps.

TSM only cares about themselve.

TSM does not own all the champions on EU servers. So this is what happens. TSM wants to first pick Ashe. Say Reginald is first pick and doesn't own Ashe. He will then pick a "filler" champion like Urgot and tell the enemy team that the Urgot pick is a filler champion and they picked Ashe.

Why don't they just do picks in IRC like we used to for DotA tourneys? You have access to timers, no problems of not owning champions, don't have to bother switching, etc.
