I don't typically see too much of this, but I was wondering how a support would do in Dominion as apposed to typically having no support. Since you don't have to buy wards(much less because you cannot), you can get certain items faster.

What are some opinions on playing support in Dominion? Itemwise, playstylewise, anything.

One of the greatest advantages of having a support on SR is that you have one guy not taking farm, warding the map and still be somewhat effective. Most supports don't actually have a noticable "Force Multiplier"-effect.
Thus, supports are much less effective on dominion than they are on summoner's rift. Most supports also scale badly, so they can't make very much use of the gold influx compared to other "roles".

So...yeah. Most supports build tanky and try to hold points.
