all im saying is if any thing i would be pissed if i got banned they did not change the code of the game they did nothing except use what was given to them

you call this a competative game then ban people for taking there competitive edge

oh**** mcrooster

The mastery exploit allowed people to put more points than possible on a mastery. So basically, they could put like 50 points in the flash mastery and have 0 cd.

Video in first post.

There was a way to hack it so that you could have 0 cooldown on summoner spells.

This jackass decided to take flash smite and proceed to troll the enemy team by flash dodging the turret shots while flipping+poisoning them down, + smite everything in sight.

I'm impressed at how strong league of legends has been against hacks honestly, games like World of Warcraft consistantly have players hacking even.

League of legends security against hacking has been so strong for a long time that it's not even a reportable option AT ALL, and this event was INSANE.

Pretty crazy, good job to you guys in that department for sure Riot, and good job coming up with a fix so quickly.

Tamat provides a perfect demonstration of the "Precision F strike".

That's bull****, and we're not going to allow it.

We take this seriously. Nothing is more important to us than the sanctity of our game, competitive or otherwise. As soon as we discovered the issue, we immediately dropped everything to find both immediate and permanent fixes. I'm happy to report that the immediate fix has been implemented, and we'll be restarting all regions this evening to add some redundancy which will prevent similar exploits in the future. As we continue to investigate and further analyze data, our primary commitment is identifying players affected and doing everything within our power to make it right.

Is this the end of people trying to ruin your experience? No. But we're committed to stopping this kind of behavior in its tracks, and are discussing ways to increase our monitoring and development as part of that commitment. We have comprehensive logs and data that allow us to see precisely who did what, and also who was negatively affected by this malicious behavior. We’ve identified all of the players that have been using this exploit, and we’re going to be taking firm action against their accounts.

This kind of stuff is unacceptable, and will never be tolerated by Riot Games. For those of you who have been reporting the issue, thank you! We've been deleting all threads about it in the forums to keep visibility low, but we've definitely appreciated you making us aware.

personally i kind of agree with banning the hell out of those people like Vayne who abused it for personal gain but what about the people who just tested it in a custom or something just to have fun with infinite flash? (comon the prospect of flashing to anywhere cant be said to be mundane) personally i kind of wanted to get some friends together and have a single match where everyone in the custom did it

Better make it so they can't use cheat engine.
I think a limit on accounts being made should be made also.So that hopefully some will learn to not keep repeating same old things over and over.
