My thumb hurts and I don't feel like typing too much, so let's make it simple: when should I pick flat MR glyphs? And when would the scaling glyphs be better than the flat ones?

Scaling if you play toplane against champs that do entirely physical damage or versus a Soraka botlane if they have pure physical ad carries.

Tanks/bruisers should ideally go per lvl if they take MR.
Mids, if you take MR on them, should definitely go flat.
If you take MR on AD carries or on supports, it's probably best to go scaling most of the time, but flat is also good especially if they have one of the more magic-damagey supports like Sona/Leona.

If you can only buy one, buy flat. Using flat when you want scaling is okay, but using scaling when you want flat is ****.
