With Akali's passive for magic damage %.... Just wondering if anyone knows specifically how it calculates... Not the % passive calculation, but what it actually deals.

IE is the % magic damage dealt, based on AD damage on attack...or her AP?

(Tooltip says I have x% based on my AP thats not what I need. how much is she actually hitting for)

Spell vamp based on AD. On-hit magic damage based on AP.

I meant.... Say you have 10% magic damage passive
With 130 AD and 100 AP.
Do you hit for 130 + 13(10% of AD) magic damage.
or 130+ 10 magic(10% of 100 ap)...

is the % magic damage based on your AD or AP....not the passive scale for how many %... And would crit affect it or Lichbane/triforce. (shouldn't but I know theres atleast a few who actually worked this out already)

(please...don't troll and say well neither cause with 100 ap you would have x% )

Mostly wondering if it would massively make a differance if I had a fully stacked sword of occult with mejia's and a deathcap, with a bloodthirster, and Rylias. besides the typical hextech gunblade...rylias...lichbane...deathcap that ive built 50+ times in a row as her. Because 50%+ magic damage or so of 300+ ad starts to look interesting, and the AD passive spellvamp, being that high would make hextech look like a joke( this is for the occasional feeding frenzy games mostly).

Ah, i see what you're asking. Yes, the % is based on your AD, but the % goes UP based on your AP. So you will do x% of your total attack damage in additional magic damage, x being based on your AP.

Thanks alot i thought so, just seemed amazing of course i was fighting noobs, but with that much ad and ap, seemed like my autoattacks alone were destroying people, but wasn't sure it figured that way.

Appreciate the help

Passive=[Ability Power= Damage= Bonus Attack Damage and Spell Vamp(like Life Steel)

Passive= [x-20=y⁄6•(100)+8%=d%

[(d%⁄100)-10=(d/100)⁄6•(100)+8=SV%

x-20=y⁄6•(100)+8%=(d%⁄100)-10=d⁄6•(100)+8=SV%

x=ability power
y=ability power more than 20
d%=damage percent
d= total damage,
SV%=Spell Vamp percent

I just made it looks right to me(i think it may be wrong) so some one check if this is right.

Based on numbers from the wiki, the percentage is (AP+28)/6, and it starts after you get 19.5 AP. The extra magic damage would then be AD*percentage/100, or AD*(AP+28)/600. So, it's based on both, with AD being slightly more significant, though you do need at least 20 AP to get it started.
If you're looking for which choice will maximize the passive damage, it will be the lower of AD and (AP+28). i.e. if I have 130 AD and 100 AP, getting either is about equal, but getting AP will increase my passive damage just a little bit more than getting AD.
