Hey guys
I used to play noc all the time in normals going :
cloth 5
boots
wriggles
zerkers greaves
bf
ie
bt
This seemed to work really well because it was easy to get kills and snowball. However, in ranked games he seems to need to play more of an offtank role, and he is not fed as easily. I recently tried a new build and want to know if anybody has any reccomendations on it. Here it is:
-Vampiric Scepter
-Boots + cloth armor (after first route)
-Finish wriggles
-Finish Merc Treads
-Heart of Gold (should I leave this in? I usually end up selling it later)
-Brutalizer
-Frozen Mallet
-Bloodthirster
-Yomuu's Ghostblade
-Infinity Edge
-Atma's Impaler (selling Heart of Gold)

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I want strong ganks with an offtank build (I heard it's a nice way to get out of elo hell ;D)
Thanks

-This is jungling
-Items are not completely set in stone, it depends on how the game is going

I've thought about getting atmas right after mallet, but I'm not really sure about getting randuins. Noc benefits so much from lifesteal that the bloodthirster-infinity edge seems irreplacable. It may just be because I became so attatched to it against the noobs, but I guess I should focus more on survivability. This is worth a shot, thanks for the reply.
~Also, I don't know about getting rid of the Brutalizer. It's what makes my ganks strong and makes me a good bit more threatening

This is my noc build

Cloth+5
Wriggles
Zerkers
Brutalizer
Mallet
Ghostblade
Atmas
(At this point your build entirely depends on how much you get focussed in teamfights)
IE
Sell wriggles for BT.
Sell ghostblade for PD.
Instead of the last 3 items you may need some tankyness like a warmogs and guardian angel or something.

Thanks, I'll try this out although I'm not so sure about Zerkers over Mercs
It probably depends entirely on the enemy's CC, merc treads seem like an overall better choice though

i generally start doran's blade. then grab wriggles, tabi/merc, frozen mallet. after that it just depends. atma's, warmog's, ie, new hexdrinker upgrade, and randuin's are some good things to consider.

You don't need so much AD on Nocturne...

The build that was worked most effectively for me. (Keep in my this assumes a balance of magic/physical damage on the enemy team, if there is a surplus of one or the other, build accordingly.)

Vamp scepter
lvl1 boots
wriggles
Phage
Wits End
Frozen Mallet
Atmas
situational item.
