Connection Failure: Unable to connect to the PVP.net server.

That's what I've gotten every time I've tried logging into LoL in the past few months.
I've re-installed the game multiple times. I tried installing and un-installing on each of my 3 hard-drives. Nothing works. This is brutal. I sent in a support request and did what I was told to do and it did not work. This is what I was told to do:

Went to that link, did everything I could. My game has patched every time a patch comes out and opens the launcher and client fine, I just can't log in. Please guys I dont want to have to play HoN anymore :'(

Do you have a firewall and/or Antivirus software blocking your connection to the PVP.net server? What kind of router are you using?

Using a Telus Actiontec router I believe. I know its not that because this problem has spanned from my old
router (Trend-net). It worked fine for the longest time. Then something happened . I don't believe I have any firewalls up. Is there a way I could check for sure?

I'm not familiar with Telus Actiontec but I believe that is a modem, not a router. Correct me if I'm wrong? Regardless, if you log into your router, do you see any options like Security, or Firewall or anything like that? It could also be AV software blocking access.

Recently, I discovered avast! was blocking access to the Maestro server which is why I was unable to log in. It happened right after the Fiora patch. I assume you have already allowed League of Legends through Windows' firewall?

I just removed AVG, and my windows security center shows that i have a firewall even though i turned it off. (win xp) and the Telus actiontec works both as a modem and a router.

None, also added LoLclient.exe and lollauncher to my exeptions list

I love how riot somehow manages to screw up their authentication system. What they get for fixing something that isn't broken.
