Where does he shine? I suppose it depends on both team comps and play styles but id like your opinion on this matter, also, diferent builds for different lanes. THANNKS!

You should have a ton of MR so mid should be the place to be, but top is also a good choice against an AP heavy team.

Mid. He gets shat on by most bruisers top. I suppose if you see that at team is running double ap then you can play galio top as a counterpick.

Against APs should be his role. He has a ton of MR so wherever their hardest hitting magic damage is, that is his lane.

Depends on the enemy picks. In mid he counters around 90% of the champions (Including Cassiopea) but on top he can struggle early on till he gets some armor.

For mid I suggest:

Magic mantle> on first trip back Chalice and tier 1 boots> finish into merc treads>Catalyst>Rod of Ages

From here on, you need to see how your team is doing, and the enemy team. If your team needs more tankyness or damage.

But most of the time: Abyssal Scepter>Zhonyas>Rabadons

This is just, when it's just a lazy game and you are not familiar with Off tank galio. Once you get familiar with him, you have to see how your income is going, (Like, if you get kills/assists or dragons)

If your income is low, you can't get Rabadons for example, it simply takes too long so you get Abyssal Scepter instead. Although if you get tons of kills/assists you can afford Rabadons.

This is for mid course.

If you go top: Boots>chain vest>Chalice and Dodge boots>Rod of ages>Frozen Heart>whatever, stuff like Abyssal Scepter Rabadons etc. (Go AP not tank Galio because tank Galio is sh it, he doesn't need more tankyness than just 100 in both resistances due to his W)

Also early on at top, you will lose your lane as Galio till you have Chalice and Chain vest/Glacial shroud against heavy AD bruisers, so make sure to miss a few creeps till you get your Chalice, because once you have that, you can mash Q and E all day long from away to get creeps. If you miss a few creeps it doesn't matter because you will catch up later on with Chalice, but don't let yourself get klled in lane because it WILL set yourself back, and from there on it will just go downhill.
