I get 19 fps in SR and dom constantly. It's normally on 60
When something happens, from 60 it drops to 19+ and i just can't see anything

My sister was getting the same problem,
For PC users, the only thing I did, was to ctrl + alt + del and open the task manager
There was a process using 50% of the CPU which randomly appeared after 15 mins of gaming
All you gotta do is get rid of that process.
Over here it was a DiVX updater '

Gl out there =D

PS: The process might not appear on the "Process" tab with windows 7 users probably because it's running on background. You'll have to go "Desempenho(4th tab)>Monitor de recursos(big button on the botton)". It's in portuguese over here so I don't know what it's written in english =\

Hey riot, since you are hopefully fixing this, how about improving the performance in general? The game reads from HDD all the time to play sounds, the HUD is using Flash(!), only 32Bit color mode is possible, and there's always odd stuff logged, like this:

000914.260| 668452.0968kb| 0.0000kb added| ERROR| Assert Description: General hard assert occurred, game may crash!
000914.260| 668452.0968kb| 0.0000kb added| ERROR| Assertion failed!

Program: ...
File: C:\Perforce\LoL\1_134_Nautilus\code\gameengine\Sta ts\Health.cpp
Line: 217

Function: Health::InvariantCheck
Expression: mCurrent <= mMax

For information on how your program can cause an assertion
failure, see the Visual C++ documentation on asserts

(Press Retry to debug the application - JIT must be enabled)

or this:

000042.305| 507228.0000kb| 0.0000kb added| ERROR| RADS::Common::CRT::fopen_s: ("data\items\icons2d\heimerdinger+hextechmicrorock ets.dds", "rb") failed: No such file or directory
(there was no Heimerdinger in the game!)

or this:

000055.449| 563736.0000kb| 372.0000kb added| ERROR| RADS::Common::CRT::fopen_s: No such file or directory
000055.449| 563736.0000kb| 0.0000kb added| ERROR| RADS::Common::CRT::fopen_s: ("data\items\icons2d\trundle_decompose.dds", "rb") failed: No such file or directory
000055.449| 563736.0000kb| 0.0000kb added| ERROR| RADS::API::Impl::FileUnmanaged::FileUnmanaged: Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden.
000055.449| 563736.0000kb| 0.0000kb added| NONE| RADS::API::Impl::FileUnmanaged::FileUnmanaged: Failed to open "data\items\icons2d\trundle_decompose.dds".
000055.449| 563736.0000kb| 0.0000kb added| WARN| r3dFileImpl: Can't open data\items\icons2d\trundle_decompose.dds (from file r3dTexture::LoadRawTexture)
000055.449| 563736.0000kb| 0.0000kb added| ERROR| Failed to load data\items\icons2d\trundle_decompose.dds
(there was also no Trundle in the game!)

In general, i think you added the warnings and errors to the log for a reason. Why not fix as many of them as possible? If they are not related to this problem, ok. But do you really think ALL of them are 100% harmless? If yes, why is it logged at all? (logging also takes a bit of performance)

The memory amount can't be a problem. I got the problem too, and my system would crash as soon as the game+client require more than 1.8x GB. My system has the virtual memory hard disabled, because everything i have works with "just" the 2 GB i have. (and 128 MB are eaten by my graphics)

This could be related to turning off the virtual memory, in theory. But since that's an odd setup and several people are reporting this fps issue, it's highly unlikely the cause of the problem.

Just open your LoL folder, you can't miss them, there's an extra Logs folder nowadays.
